2008: With Sharon and Jack’s union splintering over his constant lies and cover-ups, Phyllis worried that Sharon would reconcile with Nick and recruited Brad to help pick up the pieces. However, Sharon agreed to give Jack another chance. He promised to always be honest with her, but Jack didn’t mention that he and Adam had framed Victor for the murder of the man who killed Victor’s wife, Sabrina. Behind bars, Victor grew closer to Ashley and he told Nikki that he never wanted to see her again. She rallied by having sex with Paul. An amnesiac Katherine, who everyone thought was dead when her doppelgänger, Marge, was killed in a car accident, struggled to adapt to Marge’s modest life as a waitress. Over Thanksgiving dinner at the Chancellor mansion, Chloe announced that she and husband Cane were expecting a baby girl. Adam presented Heather with an engagement ring and they planned a Christmas wedding. 2013: Billy spiraled downward while grieving for his dead daughter, Delia, and commiserated with Kelly, who had also lost a child. Nikki informed her family that Dylan is her son; the Newmans reeled. A disbelieving Dylan declared to Nikki that even if a DNA test backed up her claim, he didn’t want her in his life. Victor was upset with Nikki for keeping such a huge secret from him. Nick and Sharon got closer as they spent a quiet Thanksgiving with their kids. Jill, Esther, Lauren, Kevin and Chloe marked their first Thanksgiving without Katherine, who died the previous summer. Lauren was thrilled when Michael (whose conviction for Carmine’s murder had been overturned) walked in. After a (later disproved) paternity test indicated that she was Jack’s daughter, Summer spent the holiday with her new family, the

Abbotts, and lamented that her mom, Phyllis, was still comatose. Everyone was thrilled when Ashley unexpectedly returned home for the holiday. Lily bubbled to Devon that her life with Cane and the twins was perfect and expressed her belief that her brother would find love with the right woman.

Drucilla flipped out at Neil for concealing their daughter’s diagnosis from her. Christine informed Victor that he was being investigated for commercial bribery; Vic remained in the dark about Nick turning him in. Phyllis was surprised to see ex-husband Danny, who had sole custody of their son, Daniel, in Genoa City. Despite her questions, Danny offered little detail about Daniel, knowing it would upset Phyllis. Jack gave custody of Kyle to Diane; Phyllis was depressed when Diane arrived to pick him up. Cassie confided in Nikki about Sharon’s strange behavior (she was freaked that her abusive ex-lover, Cameron, had surfaced in Genoa City). Ashley was released from the mental hospital where she had undergone treatment for emotional problems stemming from the death of her newborn son with Brad.

1998: Divorced duo Victoria and Cole mourned at the funeral for their infant daughter. Her fiancé, Neil, offered comfort, while Ashley provided support to Cole. After Jack and Phyllis made love for the first time, they agreed to see each other again. She then tried to seduce ex-lover Michael to get dirt on him that would be useful to Victor. Grace was pleased that her tryst with Nick prompted Sharon to kick him out of the house. Victor ordered Jack to fire Grace from Jabot, but he refused. Grace wore a hidden recorder when Victor asked to see her. She was upset when Victor intimated that he would be watching her every move. Jack and Brad continued their plot to take control of Newman Enterprises. An amnesiac Carl was stunned when Paul revealed he was Carl’s son. Sharon didn’t know that Cassie’s adoptive mom, Alice, was trying to track down Sharon. Brad and Diane kissed. 1993: Victor, who had returned from a stint of presumed death with Kansas native Hope in tow, received flowers from ex-wife Nikki. Hope wondered what Nikki was up to. Paul confessed to Cricket, who was married to Danny, that he had feelings for her. Paul was also frustrated that his ex-wife, April, wouldn’t leave her abusive husband and discontinued her counseling.

Jack asked Victor to bring John and Ashley back to Jabot; Victor countered he would do so only if Jack left the company. Jack agreed and Victor presented job offers to John and Ashley, but they refused to return without Jack. Nathan gave Olivia an ultimatum: Either her mentally-ill mama moved out of their apartment, or he would. When Olivia wouldn’t kick out Lillie Belle, Nathan packed his bags. Nina suspected that a man she saw at a diner may be her long-lost father because of a telltale scar. She asked a waitress to call her the next time the dude showed up.
