FEN IS IN
Michael and Lauren are thrilled when Fenmore comes home, but they’re shocked when he reveals that he not only dropped out of law school, but he’s planning to move home so he can pursue a music career. Despite his parents’ skepticism, Fen is hoping to land a record deal with Devon’s company. Later, Fen meets Lola and is smitten, which annoys Kyle, who recalls their past rivalry over Summer.
PRESSURE POINTS
Ana and Cane are alarmed when they discover drugs left behind from one of Devon’s parties. Meanwhile, Devon experiences a full-blown panic attack, but he continues to hide his pain by partying. Ana and Nate finally persuade Devon to see a therapist, who prescribes anti-anxiety medication. Devon is reluctant to take the pills, until a troubling client meeting triggers a another panic attack. He uses the medication and is able to get a handle on his stress. Ana urges her brother to ask for help when he needs it.
GOING OUT IN STYLE
In an attempt to drum
up clients for her styling business, Mia hosts a makeup party and invites Nikki, Phyllis, Victoria and Sharon. They agree to attend, but only so they can get closer to Mia in an effort to protect themselves from Rey’s investigation. However, tensions flare when Sharon criticizes Mia for speaking badly about Rey. The fight quickly escalates, so Sharon flees to the coffeehouse, where she runs into Rey. He admits that he’s struggling to be intimate with his wife because of his attraction to Sharon. Caught up in the moment, Rey and Sharon almost kiss, but they quickly pull back when Mia and the party guests arrive.
SHAKEN AND DISTURBED
After a heart-to-heart with Kyle, Mariah decides to end her relationship with Tessa. Mariah sends Tessa a text, hoping to meet at the coffeehouse. When Tessa leaves her apartment to meet up with Mariah, she’s abducted by an unknown assailant and thrown into the back of a car.
PATCH JOB
Billy and Phyllis bond while working on a pitch to partner up with beauty entrepreneur Rebekah Barlow. Billy wonders if a reconciliation might be possible. He talks it over with Jack, who cautions his brother to proceed carefully since Phyllis is now with Nick. Billy decides that he needs to first find out if Phyllis might be receptive to the idea of a reunion.
EYE OF THE BEHOLDER
While Phyllis is entertaining Rebekah at the GCAC, Nick is at a nearby table conducting his own business meeting. Phyllis notices Rebekah looking over at Nick. To clinch the deal, Phyllis arranges a dinner for Nick and Rebekah. While they’re dining, Rebekah invites Nick up to her hotel room to sign the contract with Jabot. Nick follows, unaware of her intentions. Billy sees them leave together, and tattles to Phyllis that Nick is cheating on her. Phyllis dismisses Billy’s claims, but she grows concerned and heads to the GCAC anyway to see for herself. Meanwhile, Rebekah “accidentally” spills wine on herself and heads off to change, but returns wearing lingerie. She attempts to seduce Nick, unaware that a suspicious Phyllis is about to burst through the door.
