■ In Memoriam: Jorn Winther, former executive producer and director of serials ALL MY CHILDREN, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, ANOTHER WORLD, SANTA BARBARA and GENERATIONS, among others, died in a car accident on November 9 in Palm Desert, CA. He was 88. Emmy-winner Wendy Riche, former EP of GH and current EP of THE BAY, posted on social media, “I loved him and will miss his spirit but it will always live Rest In Peace Dear Jorn.” Emmywinning B&B scribe Michele Val Jean noted, “Jorn interviewed me first on Generations, then sent me to Sally Sussman, who hired me on the spot. My life’s never been the same. RIP, Jorn. And thank you.” Winther is survived by his wife of 31 years, Claire, six children and four grandchildren.
