■ In Me­mo­riam: Jorn Winther, for­mer ex­ec­u­tive pro­ducer and direc­tor of se­ri­als ALL MY CHIL­DREN, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, AN­OTHER WORLD, SANTA BAR­BARA and GEN­ER­A­TIONS, among oth­ers, died in a car ac­ci­dent on Novem­ber 9 in Palm Desert, CA. He was 88. Emmy-win­ner Wendy Riche, for­mer EP of GH and cur­rent EP of THE BAY, posted on so­cial me­dia, “I loved him and will miss his spirit but it will al­ways live Rest In Peace Dear Jorn.” Em­my­win­ning B&B scribe Michele Val Jean noted, “Jorn in­ter­viewed me first on Gen­er­a­tions, then sent me to Sally Suss­man, who hired me on the spot. My life’s never been the same. RIP, Jorn. And thank you.” Winther is sur­vived by his wife of 31 years, Claire, six chil­dren and four grand­chil­dren.
