NAMING NAMES

As the Logan women discuss baby names for Hope’s daughter, Katie and Donna pester Brooke about why she’s so upset with Taylor. Brooke frets that Taylor being back will prove dangerous. Hope says she understand­s her mother’s position, but doesn’t want to rock the boat with Steffy and their extended family. Brooke then goes to Liam and warns him to protect his loved ones.

WORRY WARTS

Taylor insists to Liam that she’s not a threat to anyone, especially to Kelly. After, Taylor meets with her sponsor.

Steffy defends Taylor to Liam, stating that the problem isn’t her mother — it’s Brooke and Hope blabbing that Taylor shot Bill.

KISS AND TELL

When Taylor mulls leaving L.A., Reese asks her to reconsider, and plants an unexpected kiss on her. Zoe spies the buss and chides her father about his past behavior with women. She reminds him that Taylor is her boss’s mother and begs her pop not to create any problems.

After Taylor shares the buss news with Steffy, she suggests they move in together. Taylor’s glee dissipates,

however, when Brooke arrives and finds her alone with Kelly.

LIFE WITH FATHER

Zoe vents to Xander about Reese, fearing her dad will ruin her new life in L.A. Zoe and Xander reflect on their past. After, Zoe introduces Tiffany to Reese.

LOVE MOVES

During a yoga session, Sally shares her ideas for a new athletic line for Forrester with Wyatt, who blurts out that he loves her; Sally reciprocat­es.

Brooke visits Bill to gain his support regarding Taylor; Bill is surprised by what Brooke suggests he should do next.

OUT AND ABOUT

Gabi and Kate decide to frame Stefan for the paternity results switch. To that end, Gabi heads chez Dimera to plant the paper in his safe.

Stefan gets Abigail released from Bayview, believing she’s Gabby. They go to the hospital and pick up Charlotte. There, they run into Jennifer, who lays into Stefan. The duo heads back to the Dimera manse, where Abigail discovers Gabi in the living room and demands to know what she’s doing there.

Jennifer calls Chad and alerts him that not only is Abigail out, but she’s Gabby again.

DANGER ZONE

Lani admits to Eli that she wants to give a relationsh­ip between them

a chance. Eli assures her they can take things slow. Rafe interrupts them, looking for Hope. Lani helps him track Hope to a motel.

At the motel, Hope hides as Ben arrives for his meeting with Ted.

Ben reveals he’s working

for Stefan and plans to kidnap Ted. Ted calls out for Hope, who enters with her gun drawn. Ben realizes what’s going on and storms off. Later,

Rafe arrives and finds Hope with a towel-clad Ted. Rafe decks Ted and accuses Hope of cheating on him. Hope explains the situation. Ben, meanwhile, fills in Stefan, who calls Ted and reminds him that he is still in danger. Hope agrees to keep him under police protection; Rafe reluctantl­y agrees to help.

Julie confronts Ciara about seeing Ben, but Ciara can’t deny her feelings for him. Ciara makes plans for a second date with Ben. Jennifer calls Julie to tell her the latest about Abigail. Julie fumes that Stefan and

Ben are taking advantage of the two young women she loves.

NICE TRY

Abigail tries to convince Gabi that Gabby is back, but Gabi doesn’t buy it. When Abigail threatens payback, Gabi reminds her that nobody believes her claims. Chad arrives to confront Stefan about reneging on their deal. Later, Abby makes a desperate plea to Julie, who believes everything she says and vows to help Abby get revenge on Gabi.

MEMORY LANE

Eli and Lani tell his family that they’re dating. Everyone, including JJ, is supportive. JJ tells Doug that he’s in a much better place than he was last year.

Julie remembers the phone call she made 50 years ago to her grandparen­ts that propelled her return to Salem.

Lucas says good-bye to Will and Kate. After, he stops by the Horton home and hangs his ornament on the tree before leaving Salem. He promises to be back someday.

TO THE LETTER

Sarah tries to get

Brady to help Eric’s cause with Maggie by taking responsibi­lity for the fistfight. Brady is annoyed, but Sarah urges him to think about it. Sarah then persuades Eric to talk to Maggie directly. After

Eric makes a moving plea, Maggie caves.

Eric thanks Chloe for her kindness over Nicole’s death and offering to help with Holly. He mentions the fight he had with Brady; Chloe defends Brady. After Eric leaves, Justin brings by a letter for Chloe from Nicole. In it, Nicole asks Chloe to take care of Holly should something ever happen to her. Chloe shares the

letter with Brady. After, the duo heads to Maggie’s to tell her about it.

EYE SPY

Kayla tells Tripp the truth about how Steve’s bionic eye was used to steal ISA documents. She blames herself for getting involved with Stefan.

Tripp comforts her, certain that his father will figure something out and return to Kayla soon.

HOME, SWEET HOME

Will reconnects with his cousin Sarah and suggests that Eric take over the lease on the apartment he was going to share with Paul. Sarah and Eric check out the apartment and declare it a perfect fit. Sarah gets a call from her boss in Chicago asking if she plans to return. Eric urges her to stay in Salem. Before Sarah can respond, Maggie shows up and tells Eric about the letter.

THE FUGITIVE

Finn and Anna get Obrecht back to the

States by convincing her that Britt is gravely ill. The duo declares their love on the flight home. Obrecht realizes that she’s been duped and reads a letter from a long-gone Britt explaining why she chose to save herself over her mother. Later, Anna informs Maxie and Peter that Obrecht is in custody. Maxie admits to Peter that she doesn’t want James’s grandmothe­r behind bars. Talk turns to their relationsh­ip; they agree to take it one step at a time.

MAP QUEST

Drew, Kim and Alexis are wary when they meet Daisy and learn about her unorthodox beliefs. Drew tells Margaux about Oscar’s

illness and she hands over the flash drive of his memory map. Jason supports Drew’s decision not to risk losing his new memories by restoring his old ones. Jason also agrees to be the executor of Oscar’s will.

PAPER CHASE

At the adult day care center, where Daisy is a volunteer, Marcus chafes upon finding Yvonne with Mike, Sonny and Carly. He warns Sonny to keep Mike away from his wife; Sonny calms him down. Sam and Curtis learn that Yvonne subscribes to the Galina newspaper, but she has no memory of doing so. They remain puzzled about who sent the obit to Sam.

OFF SWITCH

Carly confronts “Kevin” about his involvemen­t with Ava. Ryan panics when

Carly reveals that she knows the name of her Ferncliff neighbor. He resolves to neutralize Carly. Laura is baffled when Ava tells her that she and Kevin only got romantic after he separated from Laura. Carly and Laura concur that something is off with Kevin.

SUPPER CLUB

Spencer and Sonny meet at the Metro Court to say good-bye. Spencer confesses to his uncle that he tampered with the election, and that Valentin knows. Spencer adds that he thinks Valentin is hiding something about Sasha from Nina. Across the room, Nina interrupts Chase and Willow’s date to bad-mouth Willow’s skills as a teacher. They decide to dine at his place instead and enjoy each other’s company, ending the night with a kiss.

GOING PLACES

Sasha leaves town after putting in a good word for Valentin with Nina. Obrecht summons Valentin to the PCPD and demands that he help get her out of jail — or else she’ll reveal to Nina that Sasha is a fraud. He seeks out Peter, beseeching him not to cooperate with the PCPD. Peter deduces that Obrecht is blackmaili­ng Valentin. Nina tells Valentin that she’s moving out.

SMOKE BREAK

Joss goes to Charlie’s to get takeout for Oscar, whose appetite is low. Kristina brings up the idea of using medical marijuana to treat Oscar’s symptoms, so Cam sets out to find weed. Back at G.H., Sonny has an emotional visit with Oscar, and Julian spies Drew and Kim sharing a close moment.

Jason is with Carly when Margaux tells Carly all about her graveyard

NO GO

Phyllis bursts into Rebekah’s suite and declares that she and Nick are a couple. Phyllis confesses that she used Rebekah’s crush on Nick to entice her to partner with Jabot. Impressed by Phyllis’s ambition, Rebekah agrees to the deal.

Phyllis meets with Billy but his hopes for a reconcilia­tion are dashed when she chooses Nick. Phyllis then tries to convince herself that she made the right decision. Meanwhile, a dejected Billy returns to the Abbott manse, where he and Abby discuss the lack of a late-night hangout in Genoa City. They decide to open a new restaurant in her mixed-use building.

FALLING OFF

At the ranch, Nikki is aghast to find J.T.’S bloody clothes laid out on her bed. She rushes to Victoria’s house, but before they can discuss the situation, Reed enters and announces that he came home for the holiday break to find out who killed his father. Later, Nikki impulsivel­y drinks and is horrified that she’s fallen off the wagon. She opens up to

Jack, and they attend an AA meeting together.

Victoria butts heads

with Phyllis, who’s willing to let Victor take the fall for their crime.

BOTTLED UP

Billy expresses his concern to Victoria about the anger and pain he sees in Reed. Meanwhile, Reed seeks out Charlie and Mattie, but Cane voices his disapprova­l of Reed. When Reed returns home, he overhears Victoria and Billy discussing the investigat­ion of Victor for J.T.’S murder. Reed angrily accuses his mother of keeping secrets and assumes his grandfathe­r is guilty.

LASHING OUT

In an attempt to get closer to Mia, Nikki ar-

ranges a makeup consultati­on with the newcomer, and offers her friendship. Mia excitedly believes their newfound bond can help her and Rey. When Mia is out of the room, Nikki pours booze into her coffee and drinks it. Meanwhile, Victoria decides to talk to Cane about letting Reed spend more time with the Ashby twins. Victoria meets with Cane and their conversati­on starts off tense, but they begin to relate over their shared struggles as single parents.

Victoria returns home just as Nikki is about to sneak another drink. Nikki explains her plan to use Mia to get to Rey. Victoria warns her mother that she could be putting them all in danger.

CUISINE ART

Abby asks Nick to be a consultant for her new project, but he turns her down. Abby then pitches her restaurant to Devon and recommends Lola to run the kitchen. Devon agrees to partner with Abby, but insists they choose a more establishe­d chef. Abby agrees, but she asks Lola to prepare a private dinner for Devon. Abby invites Devon to a meal made by a mystery celebrity chef.

Since his parents cut him off financiall­y, Fen needs a job, so Lola hires him to help with the dinner she’s preparing. During the meal, Fen slips a demo to Devon, but he’s turned off by the bold gesture. Fortunatel­y, his response to the food is positive, even when Abby reveals that Lola is the chef. Devon agrees to bring Lola on board to the new restaurant. Lola is thrilled.

To annoy Mia, Abby praises Lola. Arturo reprimands Abby, who is hurt by her boyfriend defending his ex. Feeling lonely and vulnerable, Mia reaches out to Rey and he pulls her into a passionate kiss. The couple makes love for the first time since their separation. Mia tells Rey about her new friendship with Nikki, but he realizes that La Newman is using his wife to get to him.

TREE TRIMMERS

Jack is thrown when Kerry begins to miss their dates and ignore his calls. Jack tells her that he wants to get to know her but won’t play games. Kerry asks for a second chance, so Jack invites her to help decorate the Abbott Christmas tree. After, they kiss under the mistletoe.
