Liz reels when she learns that it is Charlotte who has been bullying Aiden. “She is in shock and horrified,” says Co-head Writer Shelly Altman. “It’s not just a little girl she knows, but one who is related to Aiden.”
Lulu and Laura make Charlotte apologize to the boy. “Liz certainly hopes that her apology puts an end to what’s been going on.” For her part, Lulu “is absolutely devastated” by Charlotte’s actions. “She doesn’t blame Valentin and/or Nina, but she really wants them all to be on the same page to make sure Charlotte understands that this behavior is not acceptable and unkind.”
Opposite this, Cameron lands in hot water when his plan to score pot to help stimulate Oscar’s appetite goes awry — and Liz gets a call from the PCPD. “Poor Liz,” sighs Altman. “She is facing the challenges of a modern mother, dealing with things that are being done to her children and things her children are doing! Franco is extremely supportive, but these are challenges she will continue to face for a while.”
