Count DAYS’S Sal Stowers (Lani) and Lamon Archey (Eli) as big fans of co-star Tionne Watkins (Sheila) from her TLC days. When Stowers learned she’d be working with her, “My teenage self came out and I called my boyfriend, like, ‘Guess who I’m working with? It’s T-boz from TLC,’ ” she recalls. “I know all of their songs. I can sing all of them right now. She’s pretty awesome to work with. And she’s fun. She brings such sass to the show and some comedy, so it’s a pleasure. It’s so much fun working with her. I love working with her. I’m a lucky girl.” Archey adds, “I remember I was reading some scenes and she had scenes with other people and I was like, ‘I wish I could do some scenes with her,’ and I had no idea that we actually had a story coming up. I was very, very happy. She’s so cool. It’s fun because she brings a different side of Eli out that viewers haven’t seen, as well.”
