SNEAKING AROUND
Abigail and Julie strategize about how to nail Gabi. Julie plans to search Gabi’s bedroom and Abby will go to Kayla’s office to find the prescription for the sedatives.
While snooping around Gabi’s room at the Kiriakis manse, Julie finds the envelope with Charlotte’s original paternity test in it. Gabi enters.
Kayla catches Abigail at her computer, and Abby is forced to admit that she isn’t Gabby. She asks her aunt if she prescribed sedatives to Gabi, but Kayla can’t say. Abby implores Kayla to keep her secret.
WRITE STUFF
Eric confronts Chloe about Nicole’s letter. She
lets him read it. Since it was written when she was under Xander’s control, Eric doesn’t think they should take it literally, especially since her dying words were for Eric to take care of Holly. Brady argues that Eric’s claim wouldn’t hold up in court.
Rex calls Sarah and informs him that he moved
Mimi and the baby to Chicago. After, Kayla offers Sarah a job at University Hospital.
STUMBLE AND FALL
Victor learns about Chad’s betrayal of Sonny and fires Chad. Sonny tries to stick up for his pal, to no avail.
Gabi and Julie face off. Julie reads the paternity test and learns that Chad is the father of Abigail’s baby.
Julie races out to tell Chad, but Gabi physically stops her and yanks away the results. Gabi’s actions cause Julie to lose her balance and she goes tumbling down the stairs. Chad and Sonny rush to Julie’s rescue. Julie tries to tell Chad the truth about Charlotte, but can’t get the words out. JJ arrives with the paramedics to take Julie to the hospital.
A freaked-out Gabi visits
Kate and fills her in about Julie. Kate warns Gabi to pray that Julie never wakes up.
MARITAL WOES
Rafe confides in Eli that Hope lied to him about Ted. Eli suggests Rafe find a way to neutralize the lawyer. Hope and Rafe meet up later and argue. Things escalate, but Hope gets a call from Kayla about Julie and apologizes to Rafe for fighting. They decide to table their disagreement for now.
DEATH THREAT
Julie arrives at the hospital. Kayla intercepts an incoming call from Abigail to Julie and tells her what happened. Hope arrives and questions Chad about the accident. Rafe and Doug arrive and Doug vows to never give up on his wife. Hope shares her notes with Rafe, adding that they’ll have to interview Gabi.
Gabi has a nightmare about going back to prison. The next morning, Sonny comforts her. Eli and Lani show up at the Kiriakis mansion to take Gabi’s statement. She sticks to her story that Julie fell. After, Arianna tells Gabi that her only wish from Santa is to make sure her mother never goes away again. A desperate Gabi visits Julie and contemplates smothering her.
BABY BE MINE
Eric takes possession of Will’s apartment. Sarah talks to Maggie about letting Eric raise Holly, but their exchange turns heated when Eric arrives. Eric is happily surprised when Sarah reveals she accepted a position at the hospital. They go to get Holly, only to discover she’s gone — and Chloe has her. Eric promises to fight Chloe for Holly.
IT TAKES TWO
Ciara’s miffed to see that Claire and Tripp have gotten closer. Claire sniffs
that what they do is none of her business now that she’s with Ben. Tripp interrupts their argument to tell them about Julie. The girls rush to the hospital. Tripp is moved by Claire’s concern and comforts her.
OUT CLAUSE
Marlena reaches out to Stefan in an attempt to make him see that the life he’s building with “Gabby” is a delusion. He insists it’s real. Abigail, meanwhile, seeks advice about divorcing Stefan.
ROCK BOTTOM
JJ finds Gabi and thanks her for saving him from committing suicide last Christmas Eve. He makes a declaration about her goodness, which affects her. She decides murdering Julie isn’t the answer to her problems.
JJ walks in on a nurse attempting suicide.
