REAL-LIFE STATUS
■ In Memoriam: Tony Award-winning actor Philip Bosco died on December 3 at his home in Haworth, NJ. He was 88. The actor’s daughter, Celia Bosco, said her father had complications with dementia, which is commonly associated with Alzheimer’s disease. The actor appeared on ALL MY CHILDREN (ex-lyle), AS THE WORLD TURNS (ex-eliot), GUIDING LIGHT (ex-clarence) and RYAN’S HOPE (exdr. Gillette). In 1988, he won a Daytime Emmy for his role in the ABC Afterschool Special READ BETWEEN THE LINES.
