Rebecca Budig Back To GH?
When GH’S Finn got a letter from Hayden late last year, asking him to meet her in Rome, “Fayden” fans were hopeful that Rebecca Budig might be poised to reprise the role of Hayden, which she played from 2015-17. That wasn’t lost on Budig, who reports, “People were asking me, ‘Are you going back to the show?’ Everyone was asking me, not just on Twitter, but people on the street. I was like, ‘I haven’t heard anything!’ And I haven’t. I was kind of like, ‘I don’t know why they are mentioning her, but I’m glad she’s still alive in Finn’s heart, anyway, on some level.’ I think they had a very special relationship.” She was touched that viewers haven’t forgotten the character. “Of course,
that means a lot to me,” she notes. “It flatters me when the fans are supportive of any character I play! I loved Hayden. It felt like I was really grasping her more in the last year that I was there. I’m just really appreciative of the fans.”
Would she return, if asked? “Of course, I would!” she says. “I would always consider it.”
