BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL Zoe Worries About Reese

Zoe grows increasingly suspicious of Reese’s behavior. “Seeing her dad show up out of nowhere was a trigger flag,” states Kiara Barnes (Zoe). “She just started to create stability in her life, and she doesn’t want it to be tainted just as she’s starting to enjoy it. So, she has reservations. Of course Zoe cares for her dad, but she also just wants to make sure that her work and his dealings are separate.”

Zoe is unaware that she’s being followed by a man who is stalking Reese for cash. “Zoe knows that her father has had problems with gambling in the past,” sighs Barnes. “He says that things are fine, but she can sense when things are off. Her father’s behavior feels a little off-kilter, and this seems to be a flashback for her. Zoe’s intuition is strong, so she can sense when something is not right with her dad. She is fearful that he may be reverting to past bad habits. She wants to give him the benefit of the doubt but at this point, she wants to know why he has been behaving the way he has. Something’s up!”

YOUNG AND RESTLESS Sharon and Rey Are Stranded

After Sharon assists the police with escorting a scared child to his grandparents following a drug bust, she and Rey head back to Genoa City. However, the icy roads become too treacherous, so they’re forced to check into a motel for the night, where there’s only one room left with only one bed. “They’re definitely very uncomfortable,” chuckles Jordi Vilasuso (Rey). “Right away, there’s a big elephant in the room, which is their connection to each other. They know they can’t cross any lines because he’s a married man and on top of that, Sharon has been a person of interest in the J.T. investigation.”

Rey tells Sharon to take the bed while he sleeps in the chair, but they have difficulty sleeping. “They’re both selfconscious, but they also know that they’re adults, so it is what it is,” says Vilasuso. “Rey is a stand-up guy, but when Sharon asks if he’s ever been to a slumber party, the conversation turns into them bonding — with his shirt off.”

GENERAL HOSPITAL It’s Election Day — Again!

Thanks to Spencer, Port Charles’s last election was declared invalid, so Ned and Laura square off once more in the court of public opinion.

With a serial killer on the loose, Olivia is anxious about more than just her husband’s shot at re-election. “She’s worried about Ned’s safety,” explains Wally Kurth (Ned). “This killer does like to do things sort of in a big public way. She wouldn’t put it past this guy to do something crazy to a political figure.”

But Ned’s focus remains on the results. “I think Ned is actually a very confident guy, but after seeing the polling, he realizes he’s vulnerable,” Kurth says. “Ned realizes that he has met a formidable candidate. Not only is Laura Spencer an iconic character on GENERAL HOSPITAL and played by Genie Francis, but the character speaks well and she has some great policy ideas. But I think Ned feels that if he lost, at least he’d be losing to somebody who he respects. He feels that it is going to be a really close race — and it does turn out to be a really close race.”

DAYS OF OUR LIVES Abigail Agrees To Date Chad

Determined to reunite Chad and Abigail, Julie implores Abby to give her ex another chance. “Julie can tell that Abigail is stuck between moving forward and forgiving Chad and also being deeply hurt about it,” notes Kate Mansi (Abigail). “What Julie does is she can see that Abigail is really struggling, so she requests that Abigail goes on the date for her as a favor. She knows the only way Abigail will go is if it’s not with the pressure of it being an actual date.”

Abby ultimately agrees to go. “She cares so deeply about Julie, and she does feel so guilty that she put her in harm’s way,” says Mansi. “Julie points out to Abigail that love never comes easy, and that even with Doug, they’ve had their share of hard times, as well. It’s in those moments where someone’s trying to repair things, you really have to put your ego aside and meet them where they are. So Abigail goes for Julie.” Abigail gets all dressed up and heads to Doug’s Place, where she’s in for a big surprise.
