Mary Beth Evans (Kayla, DAYS) has worked alongside many co-stars over the year — some more than once. “Kin Shriner [Scott, GH], he came around so many times in my life,” she said on Digest’s podcast, Dishing with Digest. “It started on RITUALS [where she played Dakota and he played Mike]. It was the very first kind of soapy thing I did. He was so sweet to me. It was so funny; I mean, I was like a virgin with a brain tumor and was a surrogate mother to his baby. I mean, ridiculous! But he got asked — because he had come off his Scotty Baldwin fame — he was asked to do dif- ferent things and one of them was to go on [THE] MERV GRIFFIN [SHOW]. He said, ‘Come with me!’ because he knew I was a talker and he wasn’t. So I went and I made — you should look it up on Youtube, it’s pretty funny — I made the dress I wore, and I decided, ‘If we run out of things to talk about, I’m gonna talk about the dress I made.’ I think I was engaged; I wasn’t even married yet. Our paths have crossed a million times. Jon Lindstrom [Ryan/kevin, GH], he came and replaced somebody else that had been on the show [as Brady] and our paths crossed a zillion times, too. It’s like a big family.”
