FAMILY REUNION

Abigail is surprised when Chad is a no-show at their romantic dinner; instead, he has arranged for JJ and Jennifer to meet her. They’re stunned when Jack joins them. Turns out Chad paid him to be there. The meal starts off awkward and tense, but then the family begins to reconnect. Once alone, Jack and Jennifer get close, but he pulls back, revealing that he knows he raped Kayla and feels he’s more suited to a bad girl like Eve. Jennifer insists he has good qualities.

Chad offers Eve a new job with Dimera Enterprise­s — in Paris. Eve quickly catches on to Chad’s scheme. He urges her to forsake her quest for revenge.

She refuses and heads to Doug’s Place, where she finds Jennifer and Jack together and pulls him away.

SHE’S YOURS

Chloe blasts Eric for taking Holly without permission. Chloe is stunned

when Eric says he thinks it’s best if she raises the girl. Chloe later relays the conversati­on to Brady. Sparks fly between them.

Sarah and Eric feel a romantic connection. Before they can explore it, Rex returns to town.

LOOKING AHEAD

Abigail thanks Chad for arranging the family dinner. They have a heart-toheart about their relationsh­ip and wind up kissing. The duo agrees they have a lot to work through but are hopeful about the future.

Rex declares his intent to woo Sarah anew. He asks Eric for a place to stay; Eric feels obliged to agree. A disgusted Sarah storms off. Rex asks Eric to help him win back Sarah.

How does Xander feel about Eric (Greg Vaughan, l.)? Paul Telfer says:

“He can’t stand Eric. He’s such a party pooper and he’s so boring. He’s so moralistic. He does all these evil things and just because he says sorry to God, he gets away with them.”

MOM’S THE WORD

Will requests John’s help in tracking down Leo’s mom. Leo offers Xander a deal: a roll in the hay in exchange for the leverage Leo used to marry Sonny. Xander is unsure.

THREE’S A CROWD

Sarah meets Xander at the Kiriakis manse and reports to Eric that he is alive and in Salem. Eric rushes over to the house and throws Xander against the wall, promising to kill him. Eric grabs a knife and holds it to Xander’s throat. Sarah talks Eric out of harming Xander. Eli arrives and arrests Xander for shooting Marlena.

Rex chats with Chloe, who informs him that Lucas dumped her and left town. Rex gets Eric to talk Sarah into the three of them going out. The trio heads for the Brady pub. Rex presses Eric to make an excuse to leave.

CRIMINAL MIND

Hope informs Ben that Ciara went to South Africa

to see Theo. She hints that Ben may still be facing criminal charges.

Ted tries to persuade Stefan to flip on Ben. Stefan wonders if the lawyer is doing Hope’s bidding. Before Stefan has to make a decision, he is acquitted and released.

NOT SO FAST

Gabi reminds Chad that they’ll be working together at Dimera now that he’s been reinstated as CEO. He threatens to fire her or liquidate her company. Ultimately, he agrees to cut her loose and let her keep Gabi Chic. Both are taken aback when Stefan walks in. He vetoes Chad’s plan to return Gabi Chic to Gabi — and threatens to destroy her company.

Kate apologizes to Abigail for all of the hurt she caused. She urges Abby to forgive Chad.

MARITAL DISCORD

Rafe spies Ted telling Hope about Stefan’s release. He accuses his wife of putting her vendetta against Ben above her duty to keep the man who terrorized Gabi locked up. Hope resents Rafe’s assertion and they argue. Rafe then gets a surprise call from Sami.

ALL ACCESS

Eli and Rafe are stunned to find that the footage of Xander shooting Marlena is missing. When they go to talk to Abe about it, they walk in on Abe asking Sheila to join him at a concert because Valerie has canceled. Abe is furious about the deleted footage. The group realizes that Xander tricked Sheila into giving him access to the system. They are forced to release Xander. Abe is about to fire Sheila, but she finds a way to keep her job.
