YOUNG AND RESTLESS Lily Meets Amanda
With all of the drama surrounding Katherine’s will, a stressed-out Devon calls Lily, who comes back to Genoa City to be by his side. “Lily’s not really thinking about anything else but what Devon is feeling and going through,” says Christel Khalil (Lily). “She doesn’t really know anything about this weirdness with the will that’s come to light and that Amanda is causing trouble for Devon.”
Devon explains that even though Cane was named the beneficiary, the statute of limitations has run out, so Devon doesn’t have to give Cane any money. However, he wants to do the right thing and asks Lily to help him make a decision. Then Devon mentions that the representing attorney, Amanda, looks exactly like Hilary. Explains Khalil, “Lily thinks he’s just exaggerating because he’s under so much stress.”
That is, until Jill shows up with Amanda. “Lily is stunned,” Khalil shares. “It is like looking at Hilary. But Lily will do whatever it takes to protect Devon.”
BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL Quinn Enlists Bill’s Help
Frustrated over the state of Wyatt’s love life, Quinn tries to get through to her son. “Wyatt obviously doesn’t want to be meddled with but his mom knows him, even if he doesn’t admit it,” says Darin Brooks (Wyatt). “He’ll be the first to say no just to spite his mother, so while he wants her to butt out, she’s not wrong in pointing out that he still has feelings for Flo, despite his engagement to Sally.”
Quinn asks Bill to chat with their son. “When Bill talks to him, he actually says some positive things about Flo,” reports Brooks, who adds that Bill is grateful to Flo for saving Katie’s life after her kidney transplant. “Neither of his parents has ever been Sally’s biggest fan, and there’s a line Wyatt has where he’s about to lay into Flo and then he’s like, ‘That’s actually the Flo I remember,’ and Bill points out, ‘That’s because it’s the Flo that you loved.’ Their exchange makes Wyatt realize how much he still loves Flo, and that the genuine Flo is the most kind and giving person he’s ever met. It’s a real dilemma.”
GENERAL HOSPITAL New Woes For Brad
Brad’s anxiety issues worsen when, in front of Lucas and Carly, he receives a bouquet from an unidentified sender.
Carly suggests he try to get info from the florist but when he calls, explains Brad’s portrayer, Parry Shen, “He learns that the order was paid for in cash, so it’s impossible to find out who sent the flowers.” Brad is troubled, Shen says, “because anything that’s a mystery or a loose end and raises suspicions with Lucas is hardly ever good news.” Privately, Brad tells Julian that he fears Nelle sent the flowers. “It seems to be the only logical person that would thank him for something,” Shen points out.
The red flag that the flowers raise with Lucas gets worse when Brad makes excuses to delay a joint therapy session with Neil. “Lucas is definitely picking up on increasingly questionable behavior from Brad,” the actor sighs. “With the threat of Shiloh now gone, he is confused as to why Brad’s paranoid behavior is still continuing.”
DAYS OF OUR LIVES Jack To Jennifer: Marry Me
Jack and Jennifer share a romantic reunion in his hotel room. “The divorce papers [from Eve] are signed, and Jack has his memory back,” begins Melissa Reeves (Jennifer). “That really is their first night together, remembering each other.”
The next morning, Jennifer wakes up to find Jack gone and immediately panics. “At this point, Jennifer’s still questioning, ‘Is this real?’ ” explains Reeves. “So any little thing that isn’t going along well gets her nervous. She just has so many fears, still, even after being with him. Then he comes back to the room and it’s all happy again.”
Jack tells Jennifer that he remembered where she left the key to get into the Horton house, then presents the engagement ring he put on her finger all those years ago and asks Jennifer to marry him. “It’s super-romantic,” previews Reeves. “He goes above and beyond.” Of course, Jennifer says yes. “Jennifer is so excited. Jack is the love of her life. She knows the reality of life, but she’s hopeful about her and Jack, and believes they’re on a path of starting happily ever after again.”
