PICTURE PERFECT
Hope is struck by a sharp pain in the back of the neck, but she downplays her concern to Ciara. Later, Hope finds herself in the Dimera mansion — and leaves with Stefan’s portrait. She hangs it in a secret lair.
BABY TALK
Nicole is about to tell Eric that Sarah is pregnant with his child, but loses her nerve. She covers by announcing another pregnancy to him — Kristen’s.
Brady takes Kristen to get a paternity test. Kristen experiences alarming cramping and fears she is losing the baby. Kayla performs an ultrasound and finally locates the baby’s heartbeat. Kristen and Brady marvel over the photo of their tiny baby.
HEART STOPPING
Kayla tells Gabi, Eli and Lani that Julie has bradycardia, a condition that puts her new heart at risk. She recommends that Julie be treated with a new, miniature pacemaker. Gabi makes a mysterious call to a company that manufactures the medical device.
SPLIT DECISION
Jack and Jennifer happily map out their future together. Their plans hit a snag when Eve reveals she has no intention of signing the divorce papers. Hope overhears Eve
threaten to destroy Jennifer for ruining her future with Brady. Jack pulls Eve aside and vows to expose her role in covering up Claire’s arson unless she signs. Eve complies. Jennifer is elated when Jack returns with the signed papers.
Jennifer runs into
Hope and can see that her cousin is distracted. Jen asks if she is okay. Dr.
Rolf appears and offers his services. Jennifer declines, then learns that Rolf will continue his experiments at the Titan lab. Jennifer asks him about his projects, but Rolf is vague. After Rolf leaves, Jennifer confides that Kayla asked Jennifer to return a flash drive she found at the hospital, but Jen didn’t because she’s wary of what Rolf is up to. After Hope leaves, Jennifer
plugs in the flash drive to her laptop, but access is denied.
ACTING OUT
Ciara notices the painting is missing from the Dimera mansion .... Hope crosses with Kayla and Roman at the pub, clearly not quite herself .... Haley is surprised to find Hope smoking a cigarette .... Rolf goes to the lair and talks to Stefano’s portrait.
DRIVING FORCE
Jack makes amends with Haley. After, JJ and Haley make love.
Rolf confronts Jennifer about the flash drive. He turns threatening, but Jack arrives and sends the doctor packing. Jack invites Jennifer to spend a romantic evening with him.
PLANNING AHEAD
Eli and Lani go to a wedding cake-tasting. Gabi runs into them and dampens the mood. She apologizes for the way she acted and wishes them happiness. Lani is skeptical. Sonny and Will want to take Gabi to dinner, but she just wants to go home.
THE MARRYING KIND
Adrienne and Justin are back and intrude on Jack and Jennifer’s date. Jack finally speaks up and he and Jennifer go back to his room and make love. Justin, meanwhile, proposes to Adrienne and she accepts.
The next morning, Jack proposes to Jennifer with the ring he put on her finger all those years ago. She happily says yes.
JOB SEARCH
Kate goes to the Kiriakis mansion to accept the job offer as CEO of
Titan. Brady rips into Victor. Victor ultimately decides to keep Brady on at Titan and kicks Kate to the curb. She lambastes him for toying with her before storming out. Kristen and Brady go upstairs to her room and watch a movie. Brady falls asleep in her bed.
THE END
Eli tells Gabi that they need to attend Stefan’s funeral to show their concern and gratitude to Gabi. Meanwhile, Gabi hallucinates Stefan and tells him she has a plan to get revenge on Lani for shooting him. Sonny,
Will, Eli, Lani, Rafe, Ben and Ciara show up for Stefan’s funeral. Gabi fantasizes about pushing Lani into the open grave. Gabi asks each guest to put a flower on Stefan’s grave. Later, Gabi encounters Lani alone at the hospital, where she instructs Lani to dump Eli at the altar.
