DAYS OF OUR LIVES

The Trick-or-treaters: Eric Martsolf (Brady), Sal Stowers (Lani) and Robert Scott Wilson (Ben)

-

Favorite Scary Movie:

Martsolf: “Halloween.”

Stowers: “I am that person when I watch a scary movie I have nightmares. I’m gonna have to take it back to those campy ’80s/early ’90s scary movies where you have Freddy

Krueger and Jason and Michael

Myers. I love all of those backin-the-day scary movies. The

Exorcist scared the crap out of me, not gonna lie. That one, I couldn’t sleep for days. I was terrified. Wilson: “Halloween.”

Best Candy:

Martsolf: “Almond Joy.”

Stowers: “I actually really do like candy corn. I can’t eat too much of it, but I love it.”

Wilson: “Reese’s.”

Worst Candy:

Martsolf: “Whoppers.”

Stowers: “Is there a bad candy? I can’t think of one.”

Wilson: “Sweet Tarts.”

Favorite Pumpkin Dish:

Martsolf: “Pumpkin pie.”

Stowers: “I’m going to turn it into, like, Thanksgiving because I love pumpkin pie.”

Wilson: “Pumpkin chocolate chip muffins.”

Spookiest Sound:

Martsolf: “Pennywise [from It] laughter.”

Stowers: “In all those scary movies where [they have spooky music]. That and chainsaws. I hate the way those sound. Also when a door creaks open. I hate that!”

Wilson: “Original Halloween/ Michael Myers theme music.”

My Best Halloween Costume Ever:

Martsolf: “Richard Simmons.” Stowers: “There have been some good ones. I don’t even know how old I was, but I was a full bunny. My mom had this big, furry bunny costume made for me head to toe with a big carrot. I thought it was so fun. Last year I was Minnie Mouse and that was fun, which I’m probably going to be again this year.” Wilson: “Richard Harrow from BOARDWALK EMPIRE.”

Costume Philosophy: Instantly Recognizable Or More Obscure?

Martsolf: “Obscure!”

Stowers: “I like it to be recognizable, but I also like it to have character to it. I do think that Halloween should be fun. I think sometimes people take it a little too overboard, whether it’s way too sexy or sometimes just too terrifying.” Wilson: “Make them think for a second.”

Buy A Costume Or Make One?

Martsolf: “Buy one and customize it.” Stowers: “I like to do both. I buy the

costume, but then I add onto it or I’ll cut it and kind of shape it and make it my own.”

Wilson: “Half and half. Get creative.”

Host A Party Or Go To One?

Martsolf: “Go to one.” Stowers: “Go to one.” Wilson: “Go to one.”

Haunted Houses: Sign Me Up Or Skip ’Em?

Martsolf: “Sign me up.”

Stowers: “I want to do them, but I’m so scared! I do them but I have to have on a hoodie so I can be able to cover my eyes.” Wilson: “Sign me up twice and on the list for next year.”

Pets In Costumes: Yay Or Nay?

Martsolf: “No!”

Stowers: “Oh, absolutely. Yes!” Wilson: “Yay.”

Couples Costumes: Yay Or Nay?

Martsolf: “No!”

Stowers: “Yeah, I like those. I think they’re cute.” Wilson: “Yay.”
