EVERYTHING’S JAKE
Ciara calls 911 for Ben, who was attacked. Eli arrives to investigate. Eli questions Ben, who says he was roughed up by people looking for Jake. Jake swears he doesn’t know anything about it.
TRAVEL TIME
Theo manages to track down Rex’s location and tells Kristen, who heads to Paris. Brady gets the info, as well, and makes plans to go abroad.
In Paris, Kristen finds Rex tied up. They split up to search the various Paris train stations in hopes of stopping Sarah.
Brady is waiting on the Titan jet and Xander slides into the seat next to him. They have it out over Xander’s role in keeping Brady and Kristen from
their child. Xander reveals that Kristen had plans to steal Sarah’s embryo.
While waiting for the train, Sarah celebrates “Mackenzie’s” birthday. She’s about to board the train with the child when they run into Kristen.
ROCK BOTTOM
Will visits Maggie in prison and tries to comfort her, but Maggie is distraught
over having killed her own grandchild and later, admits she doesn’t know how she can live with this information.
FORTUNE TELLER
Ben takes Ciara out to dinner, re-creating their first date. Later, Ciara opens her fortune cookie and finds the message, “Will you marry me?” Ciara accepts Ben’s proposal and is touched when she sees the ring he is offering is an old washer that he saved from the time he fixed her bike.
IN THE PAST
Jake runs into Kate, who is stunned by his resemblance to Stefan. She gives him a short history on Stefan and Gabi’s relationship. Later, Jake makes a call, telling someone to call off their goons — he’s doing the best he can.
MEMORY LANE
As Sonny and Will reflect on the anniversary of Adrienne’s death, Steve decides to go to his sister’s grave to pay his respects. He and Hope run into Justin and Kayla, who are doing the same. The two couples again cross paths at the Brady pub. When Steve offers to go elsewhere, Justin and Kayla ask him and Hope to stay and join them in raising a glass and toasting to Adrienne.
BABY BACK
Sarah refuses to give Kristen her baby but Kristen appeals to her, mother to mother, and Sarah tearfully hands over the child. Sarah then runs off. Xander finds her being comforted by
Rex. Sarah blasts Xander and says she never wants to see him again.
Brady and Kristen share a sweet reunion with their daughter, but their joy is short-lived as Kristen declares that she can’t return to Salem for fear of being
thrown in prison for stabbing Victor. Kristen offers to let Brady raise Rachel alone while she takes responsibility for what she has done, but Brady refuses. Later, they realize that Kristen must leave alone with Rachel, and the two share a heartbreaking good-bye.
DRUG TEST
Gabi wants answers from Rolf about Stefan, and she gets more than she expected. Rolf admits he did save Stefan’s life, and tells Gabi where to find the serum that can bring his memory back. Later, Gabi, serum in hand, arrives at Jake’s garage, ready to bring her husband back to her.
MOTHER APPROVED
Ciara is overjoyed when she shares her engagement news with Hope, and Hope is supportive. Ciara calls Ben and tells him that Hope wants to take them to lunch. Hope gives Ben and Ciara her blessing.
ANALYZE THIS
Gabi tries to jab Jake with the drug Rolf gave her, which she believes will restore his memories as Stefan, but Ben grabs it. She insists it will bring Stefan back, but Ben threatens to call the police. Jake stops him. Ben takes the drug to the hospital to ask for Marlena’s help in analyzing it. Chad overhears and tells Ben that this is the evidence they need to put Gabi away.
GUILTY CONSCIENCE
Lani tells Eli that she’s going to confess to aiding and abetting Kristen, but he persuades her to keep mum.
At the courthouse, Orpheus blames Zoey when Evan is found guilty of Jordan’s murder. Rafe accompanies him to prison. Zoey blurts that she knows Orpheus’s secret. Orpheus warns her not to reveal it because it’s protected by lawyer/client confidentiality. Later, Zoey arrives at the police station to tell all to Rafe.
