“Let’s start with the bad: My worst summer was going into college, which is supposed to be the time of your life. Instead, I had gallstones, mononucleosis and all four of my impacted wisdom teeth taken out. That was a rough summer. The best summer was after I graduated from college. I volunteered at a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center in Thailand [wfft.org] and worked with the elephants. It forever changed my life for the better and influenced much of who I am today. I will always remember that summer.”
