YOUNG AND RESTLESS Rey’s New Plan To Snag Adam
The fact that Adam has been able to elude capture has Rey completely frustrated. “Rey has reached his breaking point with Adam and is determined to make Adam pay for not only poisoning him, but for causing serious damage to his marriage,” says Executive Producer/head Writer Josh Griffith.
Meanwhile, Chelsea is feeling lonely because she’s still separated from Connor and Chloe is keeping her distance. “Chelsea has no doubts that she’s doing the right thing in getting Adam out of her life,” explains Griffith. “Chelsea’s need for revenge helps her stay strong despite interference from both Victor and Rey.”
Rey shows up and proposes that to smoke out Adam, Chelsea bring Connor home and pretend he’s seriously ill. “Chelsea needs Adam to pay for his ‘crimes’ but knows there’ll be serious repercussions if she allows Rey to use Connor as a trap,” Griffith notes. “However, Chelsea is getting desperate and desperate times call for desperate measures.”
BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL Eric Has His Hands Full
Zoe, who is still pining for Carter, talks to Eric and Ridge about her situation. “Zoe comes in and she is pleading her case with Carter to Eric and Ridge, and she makes an effort to get them to intervene on her behalf,” explains John Mccook (Eric). “She wants to assure him that she was never really interested in Zende and she’s done with that. She’s really desperate now, going to her employers to talk about these things — but they are starting to see that she’s really sincere about that.”
After Zoe leaves, Eric decides to share his feelings about the state of his marriage to Quinn. “Eric actually opens up about his relationship with Quinn and how things are not the same since she came back home,” relays Mccook. “He’s still having a hard time trusting her. Yes, he invited her back in and has forgiven her, with a small ‘f’ I would say, but he admits to Ridge that he’s not comfortable with her now, and that is disconcerting.”
GENERAL HOSPITAL Cameron Walks Out On Josslyn
Cameron drops by Josslyn’s, hopeful that they can reconnect as friends — but when she realizes that he’s still convinced Jason killed Franco, they have a major blowup.
Explains Eden Mccoy (Josslyn), “Joss doesn’t necessarily defend Jason to Cam. She knows Jason is a killer and that it’s not right; she’s just trying to make Cam see that it makes no sense that Jason killed Franco, based on the sloppy evidence.”
Cameron doesn’t want to hear it, and Josslyn is shaken by Cam’s determination to make Jason pay for a crime she is confident he did not commit. Sighs Mccoy, “She’s devastated that Cam is going after someone that is so precious to Joss.”
Joss makes it clear to Cameron that she won’t choose between him and Jason, which infuriates Cam. “Cam says that he always chooses Joss,” the actress notes. “But Joss hasn’t ever made him choose between her and someone that means something to him, and Joss considers Jason her family.” Ultimately, Cam walks out on Joss, who fears she’s lost her lifelong friend for good.
DAYS OF OUR LIVES Belle Is Arrested
Rafe confronts Belle about the button from her coat that was found next to Charlie’s body. “She doesn’t know what to make of it,” says Martha Madison (Belle). “It’s clearly the button from her coat but she wasn’t there.”
Belle immediately suspects her sister was involved. “Her first thought when she is really going through it all is it must be Sami because Sami was already under suspicion and she hates her sister, so of course it would be Sami,” chuckles the actress.
When Melinda pushes Rafe and Shawn to make an arrest, Rafe has no choice but to bring in Belle. “Belle knows that she is innocent and she’s also an attorney, so if she’s going to be arrested, she’s wellpositioned,” Madison notes. “But I think her mind is racing, trying to figure out how this all came to be. She’s pretty quick to come to the fact that she’s been framed. She really brainstorms with her family trying to figure out who in the world would frame her for this, and who the real killer is because it’s not Belle. Or so she says .... ”
