DEATH NOTICE
With Hope by his side, Thomas makes a positive identification of Vinny to Finn and Dr. Ricks. A reeling Thomas wonders who could have done such a terrible thing. Finn apologizes to Thomas for blindsiding him. Thomas expresses remorse for cutting Vinny out of his life, then asks how he died. Hope and Thomas are shocked when Finn discloses that Vinny’s death was a hit-and-run accident. Thomas is determined to find the person who killed Vinny.
Liam and Bill argue over how to handle Vinny’s death. Bill clarifies that he expects Liam, who is visibly struggling, to forget about the accident
and move on with his life. Wyatt interrupts a tense moment between them. Bill and Liam cover.
BOND GIRLS
Brooke and Katie are very impressed by Flo’s
work at Forrester Creations. Brooke declares that welcoming Flo into the Logan family has proven to her how important it is for her to forgive.
COVER STORY
Hope comforts Thomas, who is having difficulty processing his friend’s death. Thomas insists he would never wish for what happened to Vinny, despite everything that occurred in the past. He just can’t believe that someone would hit Vinny and leave him on the side of the road.
Liam accuses Bill of further complicating the situation by lying to Wyatt. Liam and Bill continue to argue about whether to go to the police. Bill cautions Liam
that he must act normally in front of Hope, noting that there’s no turning back from the decisions they made after finding Vinny’s body. Liam is upset that Bill didn’t give him a choice in how to handle the aftermath. Bill demands that Liam give his word that he won’t tell anyone the truth about what happened. Liam then panics when Hope calls to inform him that Vinny was the victim of a tragic hit-and-run. Hope is concerned by Liam’s reaction to the news about Vinny, and apologizes for not telling him in person. Bill becomes uneasy listening to Liam’s side of the phone call, worried that Liam is about to reveal the truth. Hope is caught offguard when Bill interrupts and cuts the conversation short. Bill chastises Liam, declaring that he must pull himself together.
BAKER BITES
Ridge hears the news about Vinny’s death from Thomas and Hope. When Liam continues to unravel, Bill promises to protect him at all costs. LAPD Deputy Chief Baker makes a surprise visit to Forrester Creations. Thomas is stunned to realize that Baker thinks he may have had something to do with Vinny’s death. Baker tells Thomas that he’s not so sure Vinny’s death was an accident because someone went to great lengths to cover up the crime scene. Baker asks Thomas point-blank if he knows of anyone who might have wanted Vinny dead.
MARITAL DISCORD
At the Forrester CEO office, Quinn is happy when Eric arrives, but he does not seem to want to interact with her. Eric tries to avoid the tension and
leave as soon as possible, but Quinn asks him to stay.
Ridge encourages
Eric to share his troubles. Quinn wonders if Carter believes that there is no opportunity for a second chance with Zoe. Eric opens up to Ridge about his relationship with Quinn. Zoe interrupts a moment between Eric and Ridge. She tells them that she is sorry about her past actions and clarifies that her heart is only with Carter.
WORRY WART
Liam fears he’s about to be busted. Hope begins to worry about Liam’s behavior when she stumbles upon a bizarre exchange. Thomas and Hope tell a horrified Liam that Deputy Chief Baker may want to talk to him about Vinny’s death.
