Britt notices the scan missing from Maxie’s chart. Having agreed to trick Peter into believing that Louise was stillborn, Britt and Maxie discuss options for who can care for the baby (temporarily) once she arrives. They agree that Britt can be the only person who knows who is hiding the newborn. Britt

NEW BEGINNINGS

Taggert and Portia have an honest talk about her affair with Curtis. They express their hope that the Ashfords will get back together. Curtis tells Jordan that he loves her, but no longer trusts her, and asks for a divorce. They share an emotional last dance. Later, Finn drops by the club with a gift as Curtis gets closer to its grand opening. He has a heart-to-heart with his friend, while Portia and Jordan see each other in a new light after a frank

chat about the ends of their respective marriages .... Michael informs Willow of his split from Sasha and comes clean about his feelings for her. Willow beams that she wants to be with him, too. They make love, and also say, “I love you” for the first time. She then exits to break things off with Chase.

ILL COMMUNICATION

Cyrus warns Peter that Valentin and Anna are in cahoots against him. Peter confronts the pair, hinting that harm could come to their loved ones if they don’t back off. He then arranges for Finn to be poisoned at the restaurant where he is meeting Jackie, Gregory and Chase for a tense dinner about their future as a family. A mishap involving a lazy susan results in an unwitting Chase consuming Finn’s tainted drink. Peter returns to Anna’s, where she and Valentin take him hostage and stash him in the basement. Anna is forced to cover when Finn stops by to collect Violet’s stuffed animal; he tells her about learning that Chase is his son. He leaves, and Peter hisses that if his captors don’t release him, someone they love will die. Chase takes ill, but assures Finn he’s fine, then waves off Brook Lynn’s concern when she drops by to vent about Olivia’s hovering. Anna is alarmed when Finn tells her Chase is sick. Willow shows up at Chase’s, but before she can end their relationship, he collapses.

“Hell no. She thinks she is, she acts like she might be, but there’s no way to truly wrap your head around the reality of what [going to prison] all means.”
