Britt warns Jason that Cyrus suspects they’re in cahoots. She signs on to help Carly bust Jason out of the hospital. Carly, Brick, Spinelli and Britt finalize their plan to free Jason. Meanwhile, Sam takes Danny to visit Jason and she realizes that there is an escape plan underway. Cameron slips into Jason’s room and unleashes his fury at the man he thinks killed his stepfather. Worried that her daughter is in danger, Obrecht tries to whisk Britt out of the country; she refuses. Britt is shocked to find out that Scott and her mom are an item. The “janitor” keeping a close eye on Britt is on Cyrus’s payroll.
FAKE NEWS
Brook Lynn reveals her fake belly bump to Maxie and they strike a deal: Maxie will give Louise to Brook Lynn so she can secure Valentin’s ELQ shares while simultaneously shielding Louise from Peter. Opposite this, Scott attacks Peter, warning him that he won’t get away with murdering his son.
BOOK CLUB
Alexis is reassigned to a job at the Pentonville library. Nik visits and confirms that he made a deal with Cyrus for her protection behind bars. Alexis is pleasantly surprised to
encounter Shawn; they reconnect.
DINNER IS SERVED
After a chilling encounter with Cyrus, Ava tells Carly that she thinks Avery may be a target. She, Laura and Carly agree to work together against Cyrus. Ava promises to distract Cyrus for the night and lures him to Wyndmere for a family dinner. Cyrus is hopeful that Laura is giving him a chance, but after the meal, she gives him a piece of her mind. Cyrus heads back to the mainland.
THE GREAT ESCAPE
Finn snaps at Liz when she questions him about the vial Anna handed to him. He asks Britt to transfer Liz off Chase’s case. Liz sees suspicious activity on the floor of Jason’s hospital room and brings it up to Britt, who deflects and tells her to take a leave of absence. Liz rails at Finn for kicking her off Chase’s case, so he comes clean about Peter poisoning Chase — and reveals that Peter killed Franco. Jason makes a break for it, but doubles back to help
Britt, who is in danger from Cyrus’s goon. Brick shoots the gunman pursuing them; Jason pulls Britt into Brick’s car. A shot rings out; Brick peels off. Jordan sees Cam with a smoking gun. She arrests him. Liz summons Scott. Cam swears to them that he picked up the gun after someone else fired it.
ON THE MEND
Willow feels guilty about letting Chase believe they have a future together. Chase realizes that he’s only been treated, not cured; Finn vows to stop at nothing to restore his health.
POLICE BLOTTER
At the safe house, Britt works to revive Jason, who’s been shot. He nearly bleeds out, but a transfusion from Carly saves his life. Britt’s own symptoms worsen. Cyrus fatally stabs his henchman for letting Jason get away. At the grill, Mac tries to woo Dante back to the PCPD. When Jordan calls about the shooting, Dante agrees to work the case with Mac. After Cyrus assures Obrecht that he will do everything he can to find Britt, she relays to Jordan that Britt expressed anxiety about Cyrus.
Mac, Jordan and Dante wonder if Britt and Jason were running for their lives. Meanwhile, with Jason out of commission, Carly has no choice but to represent the Corinthoses at the meeting of the Five Families.
