(Chanel implores Paulina to help her out of her quickie marriage to Xander.) Paulina: “Don’t you give me those puppy eyes. You made this particular bed, and it’s the only bed you’ve ever made up in your entire life, I might add.”
(After a fight, Chanel throws Xander’s wedding ring back at him.)
Chanel: “I’d sell it if I were you. Two failed marriages in two months? I’m thinking the third time won’t be the charm.”
(Paulina vents to Abe about Chanel.)
Paulina: “What am I doing?
I’m Paulina Price. I don’t cry in my own beer. I don’t even drink beer!”
(Philip reacts to Gabi’s short fuse.)
Philip: “You always go from zero to ticked off in two seconds.” GENERAL HOSPITAL (Brook Lynn talks to Olivia about her ELQ deal with Valentin.)
Brook Lynn: “I only made this deal to make something positive out of this pregnancy.”
Olivia: “Something other than an actual human baby?”
(At the prison, Alexis reacts to Valentin’s news about
Brook Lynn’s pregnancy.)
Alexis: “It’s hard to tell through the glass and the sarcasm, but you seem happy about it.”
(He then asks her for advice.)
Alexis: “You want advice from me? Okay, ask yourself whatever Alexis Davis would do and then do the opposite.”
(A suspicious Maxie recalls Brook Lynn’s strange behavior.)
Maxie: “You know what else I have, aside from a good memory? A crap detector. Why are you really here?”
(Brook Lynn tries to get Valentin to agree to sign back her shares before their baby is born.)
Brook Lynn: “I want my ELQ shares now.” Valentin: “Mm-hmm.
I’ve always wanted to be 2 inches taller. But you can’t have everything in life.”
(Britt addresses Jason in his hospital room before leaving him there with Carly.) Britt: “Let me know if you need a sedative. I’m sure you’re going to need one after her visit.” YOUNG AND RESTLESS (Tessa sympathizes with Mariah, who’s dealing with morning sickness.)
Tessa: “Oh, you poor baby.”
Mariah: “Are you talking about me or the embryo?”
