YOUNG AND RESTLESS New Mystery For Jack
While talking to Traci, Jack receives another anonymous text, this time urging, “Please don’t dismiss these messages.” When she asks what’s up, Jack tells his sister that the messages are nothing to worry about. “Jack is rather annoyed by these mysterious texts,” says Co-executive Producer/head Writer Josh Griffith. “At first, he thinks it’s nothing more than someone playing games with him.”
Jack fills in Phyllis, who suggests they take action. “Phyllis’s suspicious nature soon rubs off on him,” explains the scribe. “Jack accepts Phyllis’s offer to do some sleuthing. Jack knows that Phyllis loves a challenge and accepts her offer to do some digging.” Phyllis later reports to Jack that she got a lead on the sender of the texts. “This information does not mean much to Phyllis, but Jack is quickly able to connect the dots that the person sending the texts shares a major connection to his past,” teases Griffith. “This sends Jack and Phyllis on a journey filled with surprises they never imagined.”
DAYS OF OUR LIVES Rafe And Nicole Confess
Nicole shows up to support to Rafe, who’s awaiting trial, when he suddenly receives another surprise visitor. “Ava visits Rafe on Valentine’s Day,” says her portrayer, Tamara Braun. “She shows up with a plate of cookies. She’s showing her support. She’s pretending. She’s there to save face and is a little surprised that Nicole is there.”
Unable to bear Ava’s fake sweetness, Nicole confronts her about being the one who set up Rafe. Ava plays it off. “Why would Ava do such a thing?” teases Braun. “Maybe Nicole should tell her why she thinks Ava would do something like that.” Ava’s reaction prompts Rafe and Nicole to ’fess up to their affair, but they suspect that she knows all about it. Ava denies it and then erupts. “She’s like, ‘How dare you do that to me. I trusted you. You were my best friend and my boyfriend,’ ” previews Braun. “Ava’s so hurt. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned is very apropos for Ava Vitali.”
Later, Rafe goes to court and Nicole vows to find proof that he is innocent — and Ava is not.
