ROMANCE REPORT: In 2004, high school student Thomas nursed a crush on Caitlin, but their dads forbid them from seeing each other. Rick also took an interest in Caitlin, which crushed his ex, Amber. Thomas and Amber bonded over their failed relationships and eventually hit the sheets. Ridge responded by getting a restraining order against Amber, so the two dated in secret. When Stephanie caught them, she ordered Amber to leave L.A. but Thomas covertly visited her after she returned to her hometown. They went public with their romance in October, with the Forresters continuing their efforts to foil the courtship. The following year, when Amber refused to be Thomas’s date for the high school dance, he took Caitlin and the duo reconnected. Thomas then suggested to Amber that they take time apart. Livid, Amber sought revenge against Ridge for poisoning Thomas against her. After learning of Ridge’s inappropriate feelings for his stepdaughter, Bridget, Amber captured an incriminating photo of the pair. However, Amber’s scheme failed and she gave up on winning Thomas back.
