OVER DUO: Nikolas Cassadine and Brook Lynn Quartermaine
ROMANCE REPORT: In 2010, Brook Lynn was down on her luck after trying and failing to split up Dante and Lulu. Sympathetic Nikolas, fresh from his affair with Liz, offered her a place to stay (Wyndemere) and, when invited to bring a date to an upcoming business excursion, he hired Brook Lynn to be his plus one. She nailed the assignment, so Nik asked her to continue on, escorting him to social events during the upcoming holiday season. As they spent more time together, an attraction blossomed — which Liz unhappily took note of. By January 2011, it was clear to Lucky that his brother was falling for Brook Lynn and he encouraged him to tell her. Nik and Brook kissed, he asked her out on a proper date, and in March, they made love. The following month, however, Nik told Brook that he needed to focus on his family, and she accepted an offer to go on tour. They ended things amicably, sharing a tender kiss. They had a warm reunion when they ran into each at the Metro Court in 2020 (their first face-to-face in many years), but have barely interacted since.
