Victoria tells her family that she hopes Ashland plants phony evidence against Adam. Once Ashland is caught in the act, he can be terminated as CO-CEO, she adds. Adam insists that until Ashland’s downfall happens, he remain temporary CEO.
At Newman Media, Ashland searches Adam’s laptop for evidence that he’s framing Ashland. Sally approaches the office, but Adam appears and escorts her away so she won’t ruin Victoria’s plan.

At the coffeehouse, Michael and Ashland encounter each other for the first time since Michael
escaped from Peru.
Sally suggests to Adam that Victor should make him Victoria’s CO-CEO once Ashland is out of the picture. However, Nick urges his brother to just support Victoria.

Mariah and Tessa announce to Sharon, Rey, Nick,
Noah and Faith that their wedding is set for Friday, May 13, and the theme will be ’70s glam .... Chelsea moves her schedule around and asks Rey if he would be okay with her going to the hockey game with him and Connor .... Sharon frets to Nick about planning Mariah and Tessa’s wedding. He confesses his concern over Victoria’s plan to trick Ashland.
COMPUTER GLITCH
Ashland reports to Victoria that there’s no proof of Adam framing him on Adam’s laptop. Ashland suggests that instead of fabricating evidence, he and Victoria start a new business together. Later, Nikki asks Victoria if she’s tempted to run away with Ashland.

At Newman Media, Adam expresses doubt to Victor that Victoria’s plan will work. Later, Adam complains to Sally about being disregarded by his family. She advises him to shake it off.
Adam tells Ashland that the Newman family will pay him $500 million to walk away from the company and Victoria. Ashland questions if Victor is even aware of Adam’s offer.
TAKE AIM
Victoria becomes frustrated when she believes Nick and her parents still doubt her ability to make sound decisions about Ashland .... When Ashland asks Victor about the deal Adam offered, Victor feigns awareness of it .... Ashland wonders to Victoria if it would be best for him to take the offer .... When Victoria mentions to Adam that she may change her strategy with Ashland, Adam accuses her of endangering their objective .... At the coffeehouse, Nick and Nikki worry about how Ashland could use the deal Adam made him to pull Victoria closer to him. When Nick says he would like to find Ashland and confront him, Sharon suggests that Nick offer his support to Victoria instead.
Victoria confronts Victor about the cash bribe to Ashland, but Victor reveals that Adam made the offer on his own. Later, Victor chastises Adam for making the secret deal, but Adam asks what it’s worth to get Ashland out of their lives. Victor agrees to provide the necessary funds.
Victoria urges Ashland to refuse Adam’s demands. When Ashland says he will not lie in order to implicate Adam, Victoria accuses Ashland of lying to her throughout their entire relationship. Ashland affirms his belief that Victoria still loves him and proposes that with the money provided by Adam, they could start over elsewhere.
