A GREAT SAVE
Susan recalls Johnny being possessed and that he wiped her memories. She convinces EJ to go with her to the Dimera crypt to look for him.
In the crypt, Andre is about to kill Johnny when EJ and Susan storm in. Andre tries to trick EJ into believing he’s Tony, but Susan sees through the ruse and stabs Andre with a dagger, turning him into dust.
THE WALKING DEAD
Ciara is horrified to find “Ben” dead — and Evan standing over his body. Before Evan can harm Ciara and her unborn baby, a possessed Allie knocks him unconscious and spirits Ciara to the Horton cabin.
Rafe makes it over to Ben and Ciara’s place and finds Jake stirring. They compare notes and Rafe is about to take him to the hospital when
Ben arrives looking for Ciara.
Susan fills in Belle about finding Johnny in the crypt and the news of Allie being possessed.
MEMORY LANE
EJ takes Johnny to the hospital, where Johnny collapses. In his room, Johnny explains to Chanel what happened to him, and she’s stunned to learn that he was possessed and Allie is now.
Rafe tries to calm a distraught Ben, who begs Jake to try to remember what happened but he can’t. They go to Marlena and ask her to hypnotize Jake. While under, Jake recalls he heard Ciara calling for Ben, and Allie saying Ben was gone. Ben realizes that Ciara believes that he’s dead.
REMOTE CONTROL
Steve challenges Kayla to a game of darts to lift her mood since being fired from the hospital. After the game, Tripp shows up and reveals that Allie’s been possessed.
Allie and Ciara arrive at the Horton cabin. Later, Ciara asks to borrow Allie’s phone to call Hope, but Allie claims she has no service.
TO TELL THE TRUTH
Abigail finally tells Jennifer what Gwen said at
the wedding about deliberately killing Laura. Abigail wonders whether it’s true or if Gwen said it just to hurt her. Meanwhile, Jack visits Gwen. He is stunned when Jennifer and Abigail arrive and ask if Gwen felt any remorse when she murdered Laura. Gwen again declares that Laura’s death was an accident, and she lied to Abigail to hurt her. Later, Gwen sees how much not knowing is tormenting Abigail, and vows to never tell.
Xander fills in Maggie about his aborted wedding to Gwen, and they discuss the possibility of Sarah recovering if she gets a real antidote. Later, Xander returns to Maggie with the vial.
CLOSING IN
At the hospital, Abe and TR have an argument over Paulina, which Lani ends.
Tripp checks on a battered Beth, who doesn’t reveal the truth behind her wounds. After getting a prescription, Beth bumps into TR, who orders her to leave Salem. Paulina catches a glimpse of Beth getting on the elevator and wonders what Beth was doing here. After TR covers, he tells Paulina he has an important question for her. At the same time, Abe tells Lani he’s still troubled about TR. Lani defends him, but then remembers Beth was trying to tell her something the other day. She calls Beth, who keeps quiet. Later, Lani talks to Eli and is shocked when he wakes up!
After sharing a fraught moment with Chanel, Johnny admits he needs to find Allie. Chanel breaks down and seeks comfort in Johnny’s arms, which Paulina witnesses. She berates Johnny, who quickly takes off, and Chanel explains to Paulina that Johnny’s past actions were a direct result of him being possessed by the devil.
BABY ON THE WAY
Ciara dreams that Ben’s alive, but a possessed Allie tells her there’s no way that could be true.
Ben asks Susan to help him find a way to let Ciara know he’s alive. She fails to make a connection, so Ben reminds Susan of his own connection to Ciara. After reading from Romeo and Juliet, Ben and Ciara connect as he asks where she is, but Allie breaks the connection before she can answer. Back at the Horton cabin, Allie tries to get Ciara to believe she was hallucinating, but Ciara’s convinced Ben is alive and wants to go to him. However, her water breaks.
Johnny arrives at Ben’s, and Susan gets the idea that they can find Ciara another way via the twin connection between Johnny and Allie.
