With Susan’s help, Johnny is able to “see” what Allie is seeing, and learns Ciara is in labor. He tells Ben it looked like they were at a cabin.
Ben takes off, believing it’s his and Ciara’s cabin in the woods, but Johnny and Susan reconnect with Allie, and Johnny realizes they are at the Horton cabin instead. They call Ben, but it goes straight to voicemail, so they leave a message.
Ciara goes into labor at the cabin, and Allie helps deliver her baby boy. Ciara asks to hold him, but Allie refuses, saying it’s her baby. Much to Ciara’s horror, Allie then reveals she’s the devil. Later, Ben bursts into the cabin, and Ciara reveals Allie took their baby.
UP AND AT ’EM
Lani is overjoyed when Eli awakens from his coma.
Though at first he doesn’t recall what led to his shooting, Eli’s memories start to come back, and he realizes it was TR who shot him.
TR takes Paulina home and proposes. Paulina insists it’s too fast, so instead TR suggests a romantic weekend getaway. While Paulina’s packing, TR gets a call from Tripp and learns Eli is awake. Later, there’s a knock, and TR is dismayed when he answers the door to Abe. TR refuses to let Abe in. Abe declares he’s come for the woman he loves, and forces his way into the apartment, but TR knocks him out from behind. After stashing Abe’s body, TR’S plans are thwarted when Paulina hears Abe groaning. Paulina is horrified to learn TR is still a violent, abusive man.
A horrified Lani tries to warn Paulina about TR, but her call is sent straight to voicemail. Later, Julie visits with Eli while Lani bursts into Paulina’s place just in time to stop TR from hitting Paulina.
BABY BE MINE
Rafe and Shawn head off to Smith Island to find Ciara. After they arrive, Ben convinces Ciara to go to the hospital and get checked out while the police continue the search.
Allie reveals her shocking
plans for the baby to Evan: The devil will make Ben and Ciara’s baby his permanent host body. Later, Allie orders Evan to kill Ben and Ciara.
SHOOT TO KILL
Seth Burns rehires Kayla as chief of staff.
After seeing Abe hurt and Paulina about to be assaulted, Lani reflexively fires her gun and wounds TR. As he falls to the ground, he tells Lani he loves and forgives her, then dies. Eli worries about Lani, so Julie calls Steve and asks him to go to Paulina’s. When Steve arrives and asks what happened, Paulina blurts out that she’s the one who shot TR. At the hospital, Kayla treats Abe. As he regains consciousness, he has a hazy memory of Paulina asking Lani what she’s done. Meanwhile, Eli asks Lani what happened and, still trying to process the events, she tells him Paulina said she shot TR. At the same time, Steve recognizes the murder weapon as a police-issued service gun while Paulina is booked at the station.
REMEMBER ME
Xander urges Maggie to use the antidote to bring Sarah out of her childlike state. Kayla examines Sarah and reports to everyone that Sarah’s scans indicate her condition is deteriorating. Maggie finally agrees to give her the antidote. Later, Sarah comes to ... and says Xander’s name!
Leo suggests to Gwen that they try to get back at Chad and Abigail. Gwen would love to, but she’s on her way to prison. Later, Ava offers to bust Gwen out of jail but Gwen refuses. Xander stops by to tell Gwen that Sarah is back to her old self. He thanks her for finally giving them the antidote, and they say a bittersweet good-bye.
IN THE CLEAR?
Victor demands that Sonny give him an answer about taking the reins as Titan CEO. Sonny finally agrees to take the job. Sonny encounters Leo, who is happy to hear that Sonny is staying in Salem.
Xander and Maggie are thrilled that Sarah seems to be back to normal. Once Sarah and Xander are alone, she kisses him. She then asks to see her baby.
Maggie stops by the Kiriakis mansion and informs Anna and Tony that Sarah is back to normal, so she is dropping the charges against Anna. Emotional Anna apologizes to Maggie, then to Tony, for all she’s put him through with her jealousy and insecurity about Renee. She suggests they go down to the crypt to pay their respects. They do so, and are about to leave when they discover a pacifier on the ground.
