FACE THE MUSIC
Jack admits to Kyle that Diane may have done the right thing when she left Kyle behind as a child. Later, Kyle and Jack invite Traci, Abby and Ashley over to meet with Diane. Diane arrives and realizes she must justify her actions to all of the Abbotts. Diane attempts to explain how she’s evolved in her absence. Allie turns up unexpectedly, and Jack invites her inside to meet the family.
A TIME FOR CHANGE
Sally suggests that Adam may want to strike out on his own, separate from his family, now that Nikki is CO-CEO. After making love, Adam tells Sally about his history with Diane. Sally recognizes how much Adam has changed since then.
TALK IT OUT
Lily warns Billy that people in town will likely see through his persona on The Grinning Soul podcast and realize Billy was ranting about Ashland. Sure enough, Victoria later accuses Billy of exploiting her pain by speaking about Ashland’s behavior on his podcast.
At Society, Nikki and Victor recall Diane’s past hurtful actions toward their family and debate how they will inform Nick and Victoria of Diane’s return.
Nick informs Sharon that Ashland wants to donate $250 million to New Hope in Rey’s name; Sharon encourages Nick to accept Ashland’s offer. The duo is stunned to see that Diane is alive. Nick insists that Diane should not have returned to Genoa City.
FAMILY FIRST
At the Abbott house, Ashley scolds Billy for telling Kyle that he will give Diane the benefit of the doubt. Traci tells Jack that Allie may be seeking comfort from him. Once alone with Jack, Allie becomes emotional when he calls the Abbotts her family. Allie admits that she is upset because her

mother did not try to bridge the gap between her and Allie when she was recently in Los Angeles.
At Nate’s penthouse, Nate and Devon point out to Lily that Billy may feel out of place working for their family business. After making love, Nate and Elena discuss Nate’s excitement about working with Devon and Lily at Chancellor/winters.
Lily encourages Billy to strike a balance with The Grinning Soul so that he is personal and universal with his topics. Later, Billy records another episode and explains that he will be as hard on himself as he is on the people he speaks about.
Kyle tells Diane that he would like to return to Italy to speak to Summer about Diane’s re-emergence in his life. Kyle suggests that Diane attempt to make amends with others in town while he is away. Kyle and Diane share a hug good-bye.
Kyle swings by Mariah and Tessa’s apartment and decides to stay in town for their wedding. Mariah succeeds in convincing Kyle to officiate the wedding ceremony.
HAPPY WIFE, HAPPY LIFE
In an effort to dissuade him from continuing to work with Victor, Lauren encourages Michael to compare their recent vacation with Michael’s time in the Peruvian jail cell. Later, Michael calls Victor and asks him to meet.
Michael tells Diane that he is pleased to see her alive and back in town. Nearby, Phyllis is unhappy to observe them enjoying each other’s company.
Adam informs Sally that he would like to pursue being in charge of Newman Enterprises, and that helping Victoria and Ashland reconcile may be the key to their success.
At Society, Ashland finalizes his deal with Nick to make his donation to New Hope. As part of his plan, Adam expresses annoyance to Ashland that Victoria may still have feelings for him. Later, Sally asks Victoria if she can buy her a drink.
Nikki admits to Victoria that she feels Ashland’s love for Victoria may be real. After, Adam informs Victoria that he has accepted her decision to not appoint him as COCEO, and he will turn his attention back to Newman Media.
