Q On B&B, weren’t both Hope and Steffy involved romantically with Wyatt? Could you please give me the backstory? This was before I started watching. Also, wasn’t Hope engaged to Thomas long before she got involved with Liam and he became obsessed with her? As always, thanx SOD! Longtime subscriber and reader.
Marcy E., Wayne, NJ A Thanks, Marcy! You are correct. In 2013, Hope was smitten after she spied Wyatt showering in the woods, and he was attracted to her, too. Things got complicated when it was revealed that Wyatt and Liam were half brothers. Wyatt wooed Hope and the pair spontaneously wed in Monte Carlo in 2014. Their happiness, however, was short-lived. Hope became pregnant but after an argument with her monster-in-law, Quinn, Hope fell and lost the baby. Devastated, Hope left Wyatt and fled to Italy. The following year, Wyatt journeyed there to salvage his marriage but it was too late, and he and Hope divorced. Meanwhile, in 2016, Liam suffered amnesia and Quinn kidnapped him and held him hostage in a remote cabin, knowing Wyatt would grow closer to a devastated Steffy. Quinn manipulated the situation to make it look like Liam had left Steffy, so she and Wyatt took the plunge and wed on the beach in Malibu. The marriage fell apart when Liam regained his memory and reunited with Steffy. Wyatt graciously stepped aside. As for Hope and Thomas, in 2011, Steffy plotted to split up Liam and Hope by encouraging her brother to propose to Hope. In 2012, he did, but Hope let him town gently, stating she was still devoted to Liam.

I read there was a character on GH in the 1980s called Dimitri Cassadine. What was his connection to the Cassadine family and what was his story?
Robert D., via email A In 1986, Michael Carvin played Dimitri, who was a cousin of Mikkos Cassadine. He plotted with Sean Donely to bilk the Quartermaines out of their fortune, but doublecrossed Sean and, once he drained the Qs’ coffers, Dimitri absconded with their millions to Brazil.
