Hi-fi at Munich High End 2018

While AV expos like CES and CEDIA are prominent in the U.S., the High End show held every May in Munich, Germany has become an international epicenter for new two-channel audio product introductions. True to the show’s name, the range of gear on display skews towards the high-end (and high-priced). But there are also affordable, real-world speakers and electronics on display, and even a fair amount of home theater stuff. Here’s a sampling of what was new and notable in Munich this year.
