Dave Sher­wood’s “Fish­ing” col­umn in the Jan­uary is­sue is a great ar­ti­cle [“Why Do I Re­lease Stripers? It’s Com­pli­cated, To Be Sure”]. We only keep what we are go­ing to eat that night for din­ner. We don’t freeze it or keep more than we can eat, the ex­cep­tion be­ing if a fish swal­lows a hook, though we’re now us­ing cir­cle hooks. John Kiedrowski via Face­book
