REGAL 33 SAV
Regal is best known for its express, bowrider and cuddy cabin boats, but like other builders is getting in on the crossover/sport boat market. The Regal 33 Sports Activity Vessel launched at the Miami International Boat Show in February and is the first boat of its kind for Regal.
The 33 SAV has a bow lounge, a port-side walk- through and a seating- heavy cockpit with an aft-facing console that has a fridge, sink and optional grill. Under the hardtop and abaft the windshield is three- person helm seating. A fishing package adds a live well, macerated fish box, rod holders and raw-water washdown.
Accommodations below can be configured to sleep two couples, with one amidships and the other atop a bench that folds down to form a berth. An enclosed head with shower is to starboard. Stowage and a microwave are to port.
Twin 300- hp Yamaha F300 4- strokes are standard. Yamaha reports a top speed of 42 knots and an efficient cruise at 20 knots.
