Notre Dame goaltender Ryan Bischel and left wing Landon Slaggert were honored by the Big Ten Conference for their play last weekend. … Bischel, a graduate student from Medina, Minn., received the Big Ten’s First Star of the Week after recording a 3-0 shutout of Ohio State last Saturday and stopping 60 of 61 shots (.984 saves percentage) for the weekend. … It was Bischel’s third shutout of the season, the 10th of his career and the sixth time he has been honored by the league in four seasons. … Slaggert, the senior captain from South Bend, had one goal in Friday’s 4-1 victory and added a career-high three assists in Saturday’s victory to earn Third Star of the Week honors for the second time this season. … Second Star of the Week honors went to Minnesota sophomore right wing Brody Lamb, who had two goals and two assists as the Gophers won 4-3 and tied 2-2 at Michigan.
