Curry returns after 11-game absence
Coach Steve Kerr said G Steph Curry would return to the lineup Saturday night against the Pistons after missing 11 games with a groin injury.
Curry will not be on a minutes restriction. However, Kerr said he would adjust his rotation in the first and third quarters. Curry usually plays the entirety of those quarters, but Kerr said that would not be the case Saturday night.
Curry had been out since being injured Nov. 8 against the Bucks. He’s averaging 29.5 points and 6.1 assists in 12 games this season.
The Warriors will be without Draymond Green, who has missed seven games with a sore toe.
The Pistons had won the first four games of their six-game homestand.
The Bulls cleared F Lauri Markkanen to make his season debut against the Rockets. He had missed the first 23 games with a right elbow injury. ... The Lakers’ LeBron James averaged 28.3 points in November, the sixth time he has averaged 28 or more in that month.
