Glass returns to CBS West Palm Beach

A familiar face has returned to WPEC-CBS12 in the mornings.

Ashley Glass will be coanchoring the 4:30 to 7 a.m. newscasts with Matt Lincoln at the West Palm Beach CBS affiliate.

It’s a reunion of sorts. Glass worked at the station before leaving eight years ago for Tampa’s ABC affiliate, WFTS-Ch. 28.

“Welcome home, Ashley. To say we are thrilled to see you again at CBS12 News is an understatement,” said Mike Pumo, WPEC’s market manager.

Glass, a University of Florida graduate, said, “morning news is special, and I consider it an honor to tell the stories that people need to know as they start their day. I’m especially looking forward to connecting with each and every viewer. Please be sure to say hello as you see me out in the community!”

Glass started at the station Monday. WPEC-CBS12 is the Sun Sentinel’s news partner.
