Dr. Joshua Simon joined Delray Medical Center as a general surgeon and critical care specialist after recently completing his fellowship training in trauma surgery and surgical critical care in Camden, N.J., at Cooper University Hospital, a Level-1 trauma center. Prior to his trauma training, Simon concluded his general surgery residency at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami — which included pediatric surgical training at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and trauma training at Delray Medical Center — and his medical school education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale
Delray Medical Center appointed Mary
Elizabeth Flippo as new chief nursing officer. Flippo also will work as the CNO for Tenet Healthcare’s Palm Beach Group hospitals.
