2-1-1 Broward stirs up spooky support for Signature Grand Ghoul.
Former Miami Dolphins player O.J. McDuffie and Jason Taylor Foundation Executive Director Seth Levit were the Grand Ghoul co-hosts with the most during a kick-off party for an upcoming Halloween-themed bash to benefit 2-1-1 Broward.
The 18th annual Signature Grand Ghoul from 7 to 11:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28 will feature a night of open bar, dancing, gourmet buffet, a costume contest and some spooky surprises.
The event’s preview and welcome party recently included VIP guests such as former Miami Dolphins player Mark Higgs, 2-1-1 Broward board members and other South Florida notables, according to organizers.
With music by High Voltage Entertainment, an open bar, hors d’oeuvres and culinary stations provided by Signature Grand, Sheila Smith, president and CEO of 2-1-1 Broward, and Michael Wild, 2-1-1 Broward board chairman and partner at Wild Felice & Partners, thanked sponsors and guests for their support and filled them in on what to expect at the Grand Ghoul.
Word is the Signature Grand, 6900 W. State Road 84, in Davie will be transformed into a “spooktacular mansion” to host the event in which attendees can mingle with local celebrities and former athletes.
Guests are also invited to wear their best costumes to win the people’s choice contest.
Tickets are $100 per person and $150 for two tickets, or $75 per person for Active Club 2-1-1 members. VIP tickets are $125 per person, which includes an exclusive area with VIP bar, entertainment, specialty drinks and other surprises.
The mission of 2-1-1 Broward is to “provide 24-hour comprehensive helpline and support services to individuals and families in the community seeking crisis intervention assistance and/or information and connections to health and human services in Broward County.”
