Jerry Bruckheimer, a film and television producer known for the “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” television series and films such as the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, “National Treasure” and the upcoming “Top Gun: Maverick,” and his wife, Linda, have listed their 5,820-square-foot Miami Beach penthouse for $16.5 million.

The residence consists of two 17th floor penthouses at Il Villaggio, an oceanfront condominium at 1455 Ocean Drive, that the owners purchased in 2005 and combined into one unit. Originally built in 1998, the “Miami chic modern” penthouse has three bedrooms and four bathrooms and was designed by the late French interior designer Andrée Putman, known for her minimalist style.

Additional features of the penthouse include a grand living room, a home office, bar and an 8,000-square-foot private rooftop terrace complete with a plunge pool, sun deck and barbecue area. The unit offers unobstructed views of Miami Beach and downtown Miami.

“Il Villaggio is a full-service building that’s really fantastic,” said Brett Harris, a director of luxury sales at Douglas Elliman Real Estate in Miami, who holds the listing. “It’s a very well-managed building with great amenities on the ocean and views of Lummus Park, which you don’t get anywhere else in South Beach. You usually have buildings next to you.”

Amenities at Il Villaggio include a bike/jog path, clubroom, exercise room, pool and spa.

Harris said that the Bruckheimers are selling because they’re not spending as much time as they used to in Miami Beach.
