Team’s secondary jersey revealed

FORT LAUDERDALE — Inter Miami CF is heading into its second season in Major League Soccer with a new coach, a new front office leader — and yes, a new jersey.

The club unveiled its new secondary jersey Saturday morning virtually and at Inter Miami CF Stadium, with the jersey now available for purchase on the MLS’s website.

The jersey, dubbed “La Palma” (The Palm), is primarily black — like its predecessor — with pink accents.

There’s a palm pattern draped over the jersey, with blue inside the collar and on the inside of the bottom of the jersey as a tribute to

Biscayne Bay.

The club’s mantra, “Freedom to Dream,” is now on the outside of the neck on the back of the jersey after being on the inside of the collar last year.

Inter Miami will continue to wear its primary jersey, the “White Heron”, throughout the 2021 season, with MLS teams typically updating its jerseys every other year.
