South Florida Sun-Sentinel Palm Beach (Sunday)

Where to sign up to get a shot.

- By Cindy Kent, Lisa J. Huriash and Cindy Krischer Goodman South Florida Sun Sentinel

The number of South Florida seniors successfully receiving COVID-19 vaccines is growing daily. Sometimes it takes determination, patience and a little luck to land the coveted appointments. Each week, the state receives more doses from the federal government, and as they arrive, more distribution locations are added.

Federal distribution sites are expected to open on March 3. Also, state officials expect to receive the newly approved Johnson & Johnson doses in early March. The South Florida Sun Sentinel is helping share the information about doses in Florida with a searchable chart that shows how many, and what type, of vaccines are available in each county. You can find the chart at http://bit.ly/37C5J8X.

Here is a list of places where you can sign up for a vaccine, even though your appointment may be scheduled a few weeks out. Spots open as vaccine doses become available.
