Mark your calendars and set your travel plans, because the Miami Hurricanes’ 2022 schedule has been released.

The Atlantic Coast Conference released the dates for its conference schedule on Monday night, filling out the open dates in Miami’s schedule.

Miami has key ACC games vs. North Carolina on Oct. 8, vs. Florida State on Nov. 5, at Clemson on Nov. 19 and vs. Pittsburgh on Nov. 26.

The Hurricanes open the season with four non-conference games. Miami opens its campaign with a home game against Bethune-Cookman (Sept. 3). UM is 5-0 against Bethune-Cookman, with all five games being played since 2011. Miami last faced the Wildcats, who went 2-9 last year, on Sept. 14, 2019 and won 63-0.

Next up is a home game against Southern Miss in Week 2 (Sept. 10). This matchup will be the first in history between the two programs. Southern Miss went 3-9 last season.

Miami’s first road test comes in Week 3 and is a big one. The Hurricanes go on the road to face Texas A&M at Kyle Field on Sept. 17. Miami has faced the Aggies three times and is 2-1 against Texas A&M, picking up back-to-back wins against the Aggies in 2007 and 2008. Texas A&M went 8-4 last season.

The Hurricanes come back home in Week 4 to face Middle Tennessee State on Sept. 24. Miami hasn’t faced the Blue Raiders, who went 7-6 last season, since dropping backto-back games to them in 1931 and 1932.

Miami’s ACC schedule starts on Oct. 8 with a Week 6 home game against North Carolina. Miami is 11-14 all-time against the Tar Heels and lost 45-42 to UNC in Chapel Hill, N.C., last season. North Carolina, which went 6-7 last year, has won its past three games against UM.

The Hurricanes’ first ACC road trip and first trip to Virginia is a visit to Blacksburg to play Virginia Tech in Week 7 on Oct. 15. The Hurricanes beat the Hokies 38-26 at home last season, and the Hokies finished the year 6-7. Miami leads the all-time series 24-15 and has not lost in Blacksburg since 2016.

Miami hosts Duke in Week 8 on Oct. 22. The Hurricanes are 15-4 in the all-time series against the Blue Devils, and they’re coming off a 47-10 win in Durham, N.C., last year.

Miami makes its second trip to Virginia to face UVA in Week 9 (Oct. 29). The Cavaliers went 6-6 last season but beat the Hurricanes 30-28. Miami leads the all-time series 11-8 but hasn’t won in Charlottesville since 2016.

The Hurricanes’ annual rivalry game against the Seminoles comes on Week 10 on Nov. 5. Miami has a narrow edge in the all-time series (33-31), but the Seminoles won 31-28 in last year’s matchup in Tallahassee. However, Miami is 4-1 in their past five meetings, and the Seminoles haven’t won in Miami Gardens since 2016. FSU went 5-7 last season.

Miami goes on the road to face Georgia Tech on Week 11 (Nov. 12). The Hurricanes are 13-13 all-time against the Yellow Jackets, and they’re coming off a 33-30 win over Georgia Tech last year. Miami lost to Georgia Tech, which went 3-9 last year, the last time the Hurricanes traveled to Atlanta in 2018.

Miami travels to Clemson to face the Tigers in Week 12 on Nov. 19. Miami has lost three straight games to Clemson, including the 2017 ACC title game. The Tigers, who went 10-3 last season, beat the Hurricanes by a combined score of 138-20 in those three games. Miami last won at Death Valley in 2010 as is 6-6 against Clemson all-time.

Miami hosts the reigning ACC champions, Pittsburgh, in Week 13 (Nov. 26). The Hurricanes handed the Panthers their only conference loss last year, beating Pitt on the road 38-31. Pitt went 11-3 in 2021 but trails Miami 29-11-1 in the all-time series. Miami has won four in a row against Pitt, and the Panthers have not beaten UM in South Florida since 2014.
