Hollywood estate with extensive waterfront listed for $16.5 million
A 15,988-square-foot waterfront estate in Hollywood offers everything a luxury homeowner could want — plus, for boaters, it has a whopping 450 linear feet of water frontage on the Intracoastal Waterway and a dock that can accommodate a boat up to 80 feet long.
The gated property, at 900 S. Northlake Drive, was listed recently for $16.5 million. It includes a main home that was built in 2005 and remodeled in 2020, as well as a detached two-bedroom, two-bath guest house. The property has a total of nine bedrooms and 13 baths.
“Hollywood is very reasonably priced compared to other waterfront locations in Florida,” said Liz Hogan, a vice president of luxury sales for Compass Florida, who holds the listing. “This home in Miami Beach would be $50 million. So, there’s a tremendous value, and you’re just 10 minutes from both Fort Lauderdale and Aventura or Bal Harbour.”
Located midway between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, the two-story contemporary estate has two wine cellars, a theater room, a tennis court, a fitness room and custom doors and archways.
It sits on a 1.16-acre corner lot. Outside features include a pool, boat lift and a folding dock with space for three jet skis and a tender.
Public records indicate that the current owner of the property purchased it in January 2018 for $3.6 million. Hogan said he’s selling to move into a condominium.
“The waterfront makes this property really special,” said Hogan. “When you’re out in the backyard on over an acre of property the views are just spectacular.”
