A Wellington man is accused of impaired driving after a collision that killed a woman near West Palm Beach.

She died about 3 a.m. May 7 when Gardner’s 2012 Dodge Ram pickup truck struck the passenger side of her 2009 Ford Focus at the intersection of Military Trail and Belvedere Road, according to the crash report.

The Ford flipped on its side, hit a wooden utility pole, and came to rest on the lot of a BP gas station. Galvis died at the scene, the report stated.
