The Broward County chap­ter of the Amer­i­can Red Cross an­nounced that Liz Cald­well, a real es­tate agent in Fort Laud­erdale, will join its board of di­rec­tors.

The Broward Di­vi­sion of the March of Dimes has named a new board chair­man and added three mem­bers to its board of di­rec­tors. Nicholas Sacco, se­nior vice pres­i­dent of op­er­a­tions at En­vi­sion Physi­cian Ser­vices in Plan­ta­tion, be­gan his three-year term as board chair in June 2018. Newly elected board mem­bers in­clude Peg Buchan, as­sis­tant port direc­tor at Port Ever­glades; Roger Hicks, direc­tor of client ser­vices at Elec­trum Brand­ing; and Brett Orvi­eto, manag­ing part­ner at Dakota Wealth Man­age­ment. They join cur­rent board mem­bers Al­bert Fils of Flor­ida Com­mu­nity Bank, Guillermo For­moso of Wells Fargo, Von Free­man of En­ter­com South Flor­ida, Kath­leen Pai of Ul­ti­mate Soft­ware, David Ross of SunTrust, De­bra Smy­ers of Sun­shine Health, and El­iz­a­beth Web­ster of Hu­mana.
