Or­ganic gro­cer Sprouts Farm­ers Mar­ket to open a third store in South Florida

Or­ganic gro­cer Sprouts Farm­ers Mar­ket is plan­ning to open a third store in South Florida.

The chain will be open­ing in Mi­ra­mar in ad­di­tion to lo­ca­tions in Deerfield Beach and Welling­ton an­nounced in April, the com­pany said in a news re­lease. No dates were given for the open­ings.

The Phoenix-based healthy gro­cery chain is sim­i­lar to niche mar­kets such as Lucky’s Mar­ket, which is also ex­pand­ing in the area, and fea­tures pro­duce in the cen­ter of the store, a deli, butcher shop and fish mar­ket, and vi­ta­mins and sup­ple­ments.

The new stores will be in Mi­ra­mar Square at 12100 Mi­ra­mar Park­way. The oth­ers will be at the cor­ner of Fed­eral High­way and South­east 10th Street in Deerfield Beach and at State Road 7 and Old Ham­mock Way in Welling­ton.

The chain cur­rently has five stores in Florida. It will open an Or­lando lo­ca­tion on Oct. 24, and oth­ers in Jupiter, Jack­sonville, Clear­wa­ter, Naples, Oviedo, Riverview and Trin­ity, but no date were given for those open­ings, the com­pany said.
