Rendezvous weekend features Jason Derulo
Lifetime Admiral and Sponsor, Terry Taylor, Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County President and CEO Brian Quail and club members
Boys & Girls Club of Broward County supporters enjoyed the festivities of Rendezvous, a weekend-long celebration and fundraiser for the nonprofit held Nov. 8-10.
Christy and Larry Heirholzer chaired the event kicked off with a VIP Welcome Reception on Thursday night, followed by the Calling All Super Heroes-themed “Dine Around the Docks” yacht hop on Friday night.
The weekend culminated Saturday night with a gala where Deborah and Gary Wendt were inducted as the newest members of the Dream Makers Society. The group includes individuals who donate $50,000 annually to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.
“Rendezvous is the largest gathering of mega-yachts for charity in the world, all to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County,” said President and CEO Brian Quail in a statement. “To date, the event has raised more than $30 million for our organization and the more than 12,300 at-risk youth it serves.”
Club alumnus Jason Derulo returned to perform during the event. The singer said the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County played an important role in his success.
