Procrastinators’ guide to holiday shopping (and saving)
Procrastinators take note: The deadline is fast approaching to get those gifts in the mail to arrive by Christmas Eve. Luckily, Amazon has extended its offer for free holiday shipping, with no minimum purchase required, through Dec. 18, according to a news release. You do not need a Prime membership to get the deal. The offer had been set to end on Dec. 14. Prime members can shop through Christmas Eve with free one-day and same-day delivery when ordering by 9:30 a.m. in eligible areas. Amazon has expanded the service to more than 10,000 cities, which allows the majority of members in the U.S. to have access to the fast, free delivery option, the company said.
If you still need to get gifts in the mail, the U.S. Postal Service deadlines are:
Dec. 20: Final day for firstClass Mail Service and Priority Mail Service
Dec. 22: Final day for Priority Mail Express Service
