Noteworthy: The Dolphins and Jaguars will meet in their ninth matchup all time, still with something left to play for in the second-to-last week of the regular season. Miami needs a win — and some help from other teams facing the Baltimore Ravens, Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans — to get back into the AFC playoff discussion. And the Dolphins have a prime opportunity to do so against the Jaguars, who have lost nine of their past 10 games. … A Dolphins victory would give Miami a 7-1 record at Hard Rock Stadium this season. It would mark the first time since 2002, and fifth time since the stadium opened in 1987 that the Dolphins have won seven home games during a season. … Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette will likely play after practicing without limitations despite a foot injury. Fournette, a former first-round pick, could have a big game against Miami’s defense, which ranks 30th in the NFL. … Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard, who is tied for the NFL lead with seven interceptions, is questionable to play. Howard missed the last two games with a left knee injury.
