SGB volunteers collected 317 pairs of pajamas and as many bedtime books for underprivileged children.

“So many children all around don’t have a good home…many are abandoned or neglected, and I wanted to be part of this organization that wants to help them with such a simple gesture,” says Judith “Judi” Birnbaum, a longtime SGB volunteer/member and organizer of the gala’s fundraising piece.
